Zixxer Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Hello lads I’m doing valve clearances on an 1127 motor from the F Powerscreen One manual says it’s the same as the Slabby 1100 clearances which are .10 to .15 Another online manual and some forum posts says .18 to .23 which I think is like a B12 if I’m not mistaken Any owners of the same motor that can tell me the correct spec? Thanks Quote
wraith Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 The .18 to .23 are b12 exhaust if I remember right and think it's .10 to .15 for inlets as just done mine, can't remember what the powerscreen is and I'm away at the moment so can't check my books but someone will be along to say 1 Quote
Swiss Toni Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 (edited) Suzuki bible says .004" - .006" (0.10 - 0.15mm) inlet & exhaust. Edited March 8, 2023 by Swiss Toni 2 Quote
Dezza Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Same for 1100 slabby, 0.10-0.15 inlet and exhaust. Anyone know why the Blandit has wider clearances? Quote

It's just a guess, but I'd say the Bandit runs a bit hotter due to ignition timing and/or fuelling for the later emissions requirements. Quote
TonyGee Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 you can always tell a bandit engine by its valve rattle 2 Quote

TonyGee Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 ive had 6 bandits and worked on countless others and the vast majority where a bit on the rattley side !!!! saying that ive heard others that where quiet. Quote
