Digs Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 (edited) Anyone on here going or even showing at the Bikeshed 2022? https://www.tobaccodocklondon.com/events/bike-shed/ Edited March 10, 2022 by Digs Quote
Bubba1135 Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Good venue that, did the London Tattoo convention there a couple of year ago. Quote
imago Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 I believe it's one of those 'brown seat and beard oil' events. 1 Quote

dynodave Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 (edited) Having ridden a lot of air cooled 70's /80's Jap bikes over the years, I think a brown seat is probably quite appropriate! Edited March 10, 2022 by dynodave 2 Quote
Digs Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 Hahah! There were a few bikes with the infamous ‘widowmaker’ name around that period. 1 Quote

'Hipster' bikes aren't to my taste, but you often spot some nice ideas and quality work on them for inspiration. The problem comes when something is fashionable and gets done to death, street fighters, cafe racers, trackers etc etc. Quote
Digs Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s classic rally/adv bikes next. Quote

That too, although at the moment prices seem to be through the roof for anything on two wheels from fashionable to knackered. 1 Quote
