Yes brand new fitted was ok but had the odd mis fire

if it was running ok when you put the plugs in then a miss fire started it could be fuel, where the plugs wet ? fuel can kill plugs but trying another 2 known good plugs might be worth trying.

but he may not have a 12v supply to 3&4

???????????  O.o

if you have 12v to the left coil which 1 & 4  and number 1 is sparking then it has a 12v supply,  same setup to the other side.

Unless im having a brain fart each coil has a separate 12v supply

yes both coils have a separate 12v supply as it splits off from the kill/ignition switches.   so if 1 & 2 plugs have a spark then both coils have a 12v supply.

They are 2x seperate coils and hence connections and so the spark on 1x side doesn't actually guarantee the 2nd coil has a 12v connection.......

but the O/P says he's lost spark on 3 & 4 plugs. so if their is a spark on 1 & 2 then both coils have a 12v supply.

one coil supplies cylinders 1 & 4.  the other coil supplies cylinder 2 & 3.

At last someone has stated the obvious ! ! ! :$ With a 3 & 4 spark problem it can't be coils! It can be leads / plug caps or plugs. This of course assuming the OP isn't trying to run 1 & 2 off one coil and 3 & 4 off the other DOH!

Usually this is the problem with above symptoms.

Or swapped 3 and 4 plug leads.
