BenedictIreland Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Does anyone know if a K7 rear wheel will fit a 1995? I'm putting a K7 front end on (which is all sorted), but might prefer to match the rear. I'm fine if it's a question of spacers, I just don't want to get into machining the hub. Also: spindle width? Does anyone know it on either model? Quote

Joseph Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 (edited) You obviously need to match the rear otherwise it will look like shit I did it on my 93, which will be the same You need 4 spacers for the wheel made but it all lines up well without an offset sprocket And use a 600 K7 because it is 5.5 inch same as OE Edited December 23, 2020 by Joseph Quote

(Someone local is selling one and has it listed as 600/750). Also, you mention 4 spacers - you wouldn't happen to have sizes for those would you? Quote
Joseph Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 750 is probably 6 inch i think Don't have the spacers handy but can look Quote

Good news. if you'd be able to check those rear wheel spacer sizes, I'd be very grateful! Cheers mate, thanks for your help. Quote
wraith Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Is the spindle the same size? Thought the 95 gsxr was still on 20mm spindle? Quote

Joseph Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Find bearings that work for both wheel and spindle Quote

Not yet finding any sealed bearings, only crankshaft bearings in the correct size... gonna be a specialist thing. These conversations always get expensive. lol Quote
Joseph Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Sealed ones in that size dont exist. You pack them with bearing grease, fit a good outer seal on the disc side and maybe think to have to replace them more often Quote
