Does anyone know if a K7 rear wheel will fit a 1995? I'm putting a K7 front end on (which is all sorted), but might prefer to match the rear. I'm fine if it's a question of spacers, I just don't want to get into machining the hub.

Also: spindle width? Does anyone know it on either model?

You obviously need to match the rear otherwise it will look like shit

I did it on my 93, which will be the same

You need 4 spacers for the wheel made but it all lines up well without an offset sprocket

And use a 600 K7 because it is 5.5 inch same as OE

Thanks Joesph... is the K7 750 wheel also 5.5, or just the K7 600 wheel? (Someone local is selling one and has it listed as 600/750).

Also, you mention 4 spacers - you wouldn't happen to have sizes for those would you?

750 is probably 6 inch i think

Don't have the spacers handy but can look

OK, checked part umbers from Suzuki for the 600 and the 750, they're the same! Good news.

if you'd be able to check those rear wheel spacer sizes, I'd be very grateful! Cheers mate, thanks for your help.

Is the spindle the same size?

Thought the 95 gsxr was still on 20mm spindle?

I think the K7 is a 25mm spindle. But captive top hat spacers will sort that out. 750 runs a 180 tyre, so should be a 5.5 rim.

Interesting, how'd you see a spacer working? Wouldn't I also need revised bearings?

How did you get around the spindle size difference? (Sorry for all the questions, just getting to that stage of the build!)

Find bearings that work for both wheel and spindle

Yeah, looking in to that... hard task! Not yet finding any sealed bearings, only crankshaft bearings in the correct size... gonna be a specialist thing. These conversations always get expensive. lol

Sealed ones in that size dont exist. You pack them with bearing grease, fit a good outer seal on the disc side and maybe think to have to replace them more often

Ah excellent.

Did you have any luck with those spacer sizes?
