  1. Little update... suspension in, brake discs on way, couple of spacers being made for rear wheel, but the rest of it is in. Lots of spacers and bearings and things replaced... engine will go in next week. It's got some nice red Samcos on it too!
  2. Well, slowly the build is taking shape... from a dead frame and water-filled rather than water-cooled engine... we’re making progress
  3. How are those builds going? I got the forks into mine, and have all the various spacers and stuff made up to get the swinging arm in. Engine is back from engine builder, bodywork ordered...
  4. Ah excellent. Did you have any luck with those spacer sizes?
  5. Yeah, looking in to that... hard task! Not yet finding any sealed bearings, only crankshaft bearings in the correct size... gonna be a specialist thing. These conversations always get expensive. lol
  6. How did you get around the spindle size difference? (Sorry for all the questions, just getting to that stage of the build!)
  7. Interesting, how'd you see a spacer working? Wouldn't I also need revised bearings?
  8. Hey Andy, where did you get to on the bodywork? So far I've only managed to find Airtech (USA, very expensive to ship from) and Ragged Edge (not taking bookings) who can provide it. You had any luck with other providers?
  9. OK, checked part umbers from Suzuki for the 600 and the 750, they're the same! Good news. if you'd be able to check those rear wheel spacer sizes, I'd be very grateful! Cheers mate, thanks for your help.
  10. Thanks Joesph... is the K7 750 wheel also 5.5, or just the K7 600 wheel? (Someone local is selling one and has it listed as 600/750). Also, you mention 4 spacers - you wouldn't happen to have sizes for those would you?
  11. Does anyone know if a K7 rear wheel will fit a 1995? I'm putting a K7 front end on (which is all sorted), but might prefer to match the rear. I'm fine if it's a question of spacers, I just don't want to get into machining the hub. Also: spindle width? Does anyone know it on either model?
  12. Lovely, I am also building a replica of the same Suzuka bike! Gorgeous isn’t it?
  13. Hmmm which are nearest length and nearest stem length to WN/WP? Any idea?
  14. Crikey!!! What are this lot off? I was thinking maybe K6 might be an option... I'd prefer to go with Suzuki if possible.
  15. Ah that’s part of the situation: I don’t have the original yokes and therefore no stem either. So I was kind of hoping that an entire front end transplant may be possible. Otherwise I’ve gotta buy an entire front end and a set of standard yokes. Incidentlaly: if I DID do that, how would I know if the original stem could be pressed into a later yoke? Wouldn’t I need to know the stem diameter in order to do that?
  16. Hi all, I'm new on the forum and have several bikes (all different makes) as well as an old RGV250 so I fit the Suzuki mould. I've recently bought a 1993 GSXR 750 WP/WN, and it's basically just a frame, engine, tank and loom. I'm gonna need an entire front end. I want something modern, USD. So my question is: Which entire front ends are plug and play? I have read everything on every flipping forum, and I can find fork diameters, offsets, and the like but NOTHING on stem length. Using a bearing kit I can adapt whichever, but which front ends will fit with NO stem modification? Any ideas? Once that's digested, i'l be asking for the simplest rear end conversions also... Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated as I've now spent a week reading everything I can but with no answers. Cheers, Ben
