Hi all,

Just after a bit of advice....what type of header pipe bolts should I replace my existing ones with...or is it better to put in some exhaust studs . It's an 1100f.

Thanks

Stainless cap head bolts/set screws have generally worked for me. Always use copperslip or similar. Bolt length varies according to the nature of the system and how it's attached to the head, which varies among and within manufacturers. Depending on the combination of exhaust system, frame, and engine it may be that using studs and nuts make things easier all round, especially for socket access and the need to remove other components or not when re-fitting the system after removal. Trial and error I suppose:).
