A massive thank-you to Spike Livingstone @ www.raggededgeracing.com for giving me a hand to move the Harris (GSX-R 1127) motor from the dining-room table & on to the 'Homebase' chassis-stand, I ain't getting any younger!! (y)

The cam-timing articles (x2) appeared in the June & July 2007 issues  (y)

Watching ‘Formula 1’ on Netflix this afternoon, whilst getting the swing-arm & front-end back in... got the throttle cables hooked-up, so I can now can now (almost) sit on the ‘bike & make ‘Race-Fit’ noises!! :D

Bloody hell even your engine stand is clean xD love the build (y)

I can’t help it - a bit/seriously OCD sometimes... which can be a hinderance... it’s all in the detail..  (y)

Update: still making progress (?!)... now waiting on a couple of spacers to make sense of the rear mono-shock linkage, a couple of rear engine mount bolts, & a couple of pieces getting chromed....

should all be back this week .. :tu

Hi, I'm  near Bristol,  this build is mega! Keep it coming.

I'd be interested in some of those chromed fasteners, the cam cover oil feed bolts and if you have any spare, the side-of-the-head plugs with threads in :)

The two spacers (top left) in the previous post has got the rear shock linkage sorted.... the bottom shock mount was ‘floating’ on the bolt... so a couple of 4.5mm spacers were needed to keep it in place... :tu

Based in Filton, Bristol... Getting them making me a replacement rear wheel spindle too, as the original.... well, let’s just say it’s my OCD kicking-in again!! (y)
