wraith Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Can you just cut it out and join the two red wires? Quote

Crass Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 If you just cut it out you leave that circuit completely unprotected from overload which could fry your loom. Much better to replace it with a 30A inline fuse which costs less than a pint of beer, retaining full protection but removing a source of unreliability. 1 Quote
wraith Posted February 4, 2019 Author Posted February 4, 2019 Got a bag full of new inline fuses holders i got some years ago Quote

dupersunc Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 New ones aren't expensive from Suzuki. Quote

Put anything in the firing line of road shite and water and it'll fail - electrics moreso! It's an unnecessary complication that can be simplified with a fuse instead and easier to protect. They maybe not very expensive but when failed beside the road - that doesn't help! 1 Quote
