don't know why I bought these 2 at beginning of 2016 ,probably because they were cheap and I had one 10 years ago . now part of my  eclectic mix of bikes  .remember them being pretty fast but rather challenging handling .bought the 96  1100WT  (Italian import )first as it has slightly  better lines and a lot of subtle differences . anyway both have had complete strip downs . ive only shown wr pics . wt was a bit easier to do even though I did it first . just as clean underneath where it counts .

I always tell people try to start out with the best bike possible for the money . should really have walked away from the wr  but it had some good history . basically I took it down to bare frame ,engine still in .swinging arm out . anything that could be taken apart was .  cleaned /serviced as I went along . full carb overhaul . sump off etc  rad was soaked for few weeks to remove bugs /gently hosed off with boiling water .  blasted few bits then simply lacquered . lots of stainless bolts used . every nut bolt used copperslip grease  . they build them dry from factory , full brake overhaul. later busa 6 pots used alloy pistons as a point of interest . mine are just originals refreshed. first picis bike nearly finished but with original purple paint .last pic on day I bought bike came with a set of spare wheels/discs now sold .

Sold my black gsxr1100wr last weekend to a guy who initially wanted my fzr1000 and decided to buy both once he saw the condition of the black gsxr. (got £5500 for both. Which I was more than happy with. I only got it out of long term storage 2 months ago and had it running ok after changing header gaskets and a sticking float. Guy is saying it's running a bit rough now. Don't know if he's messed around with it. My question is does it matter which way round coils are wired + and negative to each coil. . I know plug leads were in correct sequence off the coils . Just want to help guy out. Thanks

No.
although there is a + and a - cast in the coil body. But it should not matter.
