Rhubarb
I'm sure it's been exhausted so again I apologise What other wheels will fit into the forks on an 83 gsx750? I've posted before about having issues finding discs, I've found them but it I had more options I'd want to put something different up front. Im worried about discs meeting callipers correctly more than anything else Edited January 3, 2019 by Rhubarb Changing title to more appropriate Quote Link to comment
Rhubarb
Ok so dug through this forum and Google without much great success. I'm still learning these machines end of. I'm going have a 6" from a gsxr tl (srad k3 I think) in the rear. It'll be tight but it will fit. I have the forms and they sit well height wise so don't want to change them if I don't have to. But there doesnt seem to be any obvious options without changing the forks. I really don't want to do this..... Quote Link to comment
gsx1100e
What you are looking for, different looks or size? Quote Link to comment
Rhubarb
Neither bother me. I want something that has more practicality in parts location than the 83 does currently. I have one option for discs that's it, I've spent several hours looking. Quote Link to comment

If its the fork - disc - caliper situation, then it makes considerably more sense to do a whole front end swap rather than a bit here and a bit there and then a multitude of spacers and washers to make it all work together! Fronts a 16" 2.15 I believe can't confirm without being in front of it. I wanted to avoid swapping it the forks and yokes. If it's not achievement without doing it for now to get it on the road I'll stick with it. Quote Link to comment
Gixer1460
Hmmm - decent 16" rubber is/was getting a bit scarce, or it was when everyone was using them in Superstreet bike - so a switch to 17" would be logical choice? Quote Link to comment
Rhubarb
What would go in without the need for adaptation or spacers though.. or again am.i barking up the wrong tree? Quote Link to comment
no class
85-87 slab will have the same look as your current wheel set- up ....but in a 18" version.......spindle..... Disc spacing will need to be checked and wheel spacers .Fender will need to be raised Edited January 3, 2019 by no class Quote Link to comment

wraith
I have put a rgv250 front wheel in a gsx550ef before, 17" wheel went straight in just needed to make some mounting plates for the calipers. Quote Link to comment

Useful to know but definitely what I'm trying to avoid.... But it's an option at least Quote Link to comment
