  1. Some pictures because we like them... I have three GSX´s just test fitting parts to one in pieces before moving them to red one later.
  2. Hello, I´m fitting 1200 bandit swing arm and wheel to -82 GSX 1100E Öhlins rear shocks from Ya...a XJR and 5/8" 530 offset sprocket. Chains come with different width´s (pin lenght) What chain you have used in these?
  3. I have inazuma gauges in -82 GSX 1100 E Just fuel gauge is not working, I guess there is difference in resistances of level sensors between models. Connecting gauges was quite straight forward job no big issues. Cant´t be 100% sure that one you looked will work but my guess is that it works
  4. Hello and Welcome! We like pictures and you have several ES's even one whir sn5 and 0 miles!!!
  5. What you are looking for, different looks or size?
  6. You can allways use some of those other bikes as donors for parts. It's good to look for something useful from those. welcome.
  7. 300W Race alternator! It is good to have options, perhaps there are some things to update before that. Link to that other site was also good.
  8. I think this could be easy modification to improve reliability of charging system, heat is not good in wiring or connectors. Do you series regulator model which works in gsx?
  9. Something new each day! Again one thing to check in these old Suzuki's
  10. It is 750cc engine and I think someone painted it black. I'm not expert, but at least what I have seen only later ones were originally black. Also Chrome caps on cylinder head look like early gsx.
  11. Whats the beginning of your black engines number?
  12. So whit series regulator there would be less engine power lost to charging system? Whit small gsx generator loss is not huge, but still there would be more usable power to move bike whit modern regulator If I understand correctly...
  13. I have same plans b1200 swing and xjr chocks. have collected parts and looked how others have build these. In lucky7 katana chock mount is bit offset maybe 5mm. Do you think chain clearance is ok if chock is in middle of swing arm?
  14. Welcome!! Don't worry about electrics everything can be repaired and ones you repair you learn.
  15. I measured 30,2mm inner diameter and length to be press fitted about 24,4mm from b12 bottom yoke. Could you measure slabby stem?
  16. You will press b12 stem out anyway, try it and let us know does it fit. At least I'm interested.
  17. Welcome to OSS, and pictures we like them.... Did you check needle valves?
  18. I measured my inazuma wheel and gsx e forks I wouldn't try. Less work to change complete front end. It would be thinght between fork tube and brake disk there is about 5mm gap, where build adapter for brake caliber. Didn't check axle diameter for bearings. And mayby next commenter tells that it's easy thigh..
  19. Do you have old brake lines, if they are old part of pressure just expands rubberlines instead of moves pistons.
  20. I will go easy way whit bandit wheel, just need to find one.
  21. Installing wide rear wheel to gsx 1100 Iooks like lot of fun, so that's also my plan. I have b12 swingarm, twin shock attachments, offset sprocket, and rear brake just looking for a wheel. Is B12 only easy option or are other 5,5" wide rear wheels from Suzuki's actually same as B12
  22. Ok I see.. What would be point in changing parts whitch will be replaced soon anyway... Good bike for modifications all parts in it and still not all original painat etc. That 55mph linght was new for me.
  23. Wellcome to OSS. I would drive it for some time and deside what to do whit it after that. is on that red linght sift linght or oil pressure?
  24. So that modification is only for drag racers.
