Quick question, is there a way of identifying an engine model from the actual engine number? If you were looking for an "M" model engine how would you know it was an "M" ?
Yes I did, the oem sprocket cover was machined to take a slab of ali then that was machined to run a bearing and Chris Hannam supplied a one off cup sprocket to suit. Dont think I've got any photo's of it though, at the time I worked with a guy who was a great machinist and he was into bikes too so it for him it was easy.
I seem to recall on the old forum someone fitting an SRAD 600 cylinder head onto a 750 bottom end, was it a simple bolt on job? I'm presuming the 600 cams and carbs were used too?
I seem to recall someone posted a link a while back, to a company or person who was making fibreglass replica's of the Slabby RR one piece seat units similar to this one.......
I use these kits from Murica, fit them to all my bikes, easy to do, looks oem, and as the others have said Mosfet is way better.

I think it would be a lot of work to make the 1400 pipes fit, they also suffer corrosion on the collectors and associated parts, as the other guys have already said theres better and easier options.
Those brakes are mental, I had a set and ended up selling them, I thought they were too much. Regarding the fork anodising this guys work is good, just had a set done myself.

It may simply need a set of rings, and a hone through the barrels. Stem seals are always a good idea if its apart, as is lapping the valve into the head.
