  1. Yep mine looks a bit taller. Doesn't have a sender tho which i thought were only on the 11 tanks?
  2. So what are the differences? TBH i want the smallest, with least add ons. Just a basic tank for the drag bike. I may even have it already?
  3. I got a Busa 6" 180 in my Yoshi GS1100 that fitted with a little bit of fettling. No hacking of frame either
  4. I'm talking about the full hub width, not the sprocket side half! What's the point in measuring only half a hub?
  5. Jeez, they're not! I wanted K wheel but could not move it enough, so with the Busa i could. Do i have to go get measurements to prove you wrong?
  6. I'm on about the centre hub width. Easier to centre a Busa than the K series. I know, i've done it on 3 bikes now.
  7. K series rear wheels have a very wide hub, easier to fit a 6" Busa rear if that's what you want. Fronts might be lighter for newer models but don't run a mech speedo
  8. @Strangewayzis the true expert at frame hacking I mean modifying
  9. Easier get @Gsxrsammake you some
  10. Sounds like reg/rec blown. Check voltage at battery when running (Not long) if above 13/14v then def blown & probably boiling your battery too
  11. Mine's been doing it for while. New rebuild kit, Motobatt & updated wiring. So not as uncommon as is suggested!
  12. It's on a Bigbored GS1000, but i did it that long ago i can't remember wot i did when fitting it pmsl!
  13. BTW my 8mm offset was on a S/sider so not really much option there. And when i machined the carrier, it was the castle'd nut/bolt face that got done so dragging the sprocket in toward wheel. Also reversing it, cos it was a JT stepped one too! Pics are before & after.
  14. Oil cooler is plumbed to the oil presssure gauge at back of block, adapter needed. Front end is usually a top bearing change only, But it is an odd size! Rear end is all dependent on what rim you want to fit? I used Busa cos the hub size is narrower than K series & makes chain alignment much easier, not to say it is though!
  15. Front end is a complete K1-2 series, & rear is a Busa wheel with plenty of fettling to get it to fit a JMC braced GS1000 fitting swinger better pic of it all!
  16. I bought a seat from Guillari in Italy, totally shite fit so i sent it back. Then got a local car upholsterer to do original base with a step & piping, all in for £120! 1st 2 pics are the Guillari, next 2 are of it now
  17. I was after a slabby tap & was reliably informed that the 7 & 11 taps are different bolt hole sizes, therefore making the seals different sizes
  18. Was at the Pod yrs back on the OSS do. Not been since. It's been Bulldog/Ace cafe/OSS do's Uttoxeter, Buxton, Dumfries etc etc It now lies in pieces spread to the 4 corners!
  19. Mine was done yrs back & it can be overcome reasonably simply. HOWEVER, It's sooooo last Century that nobody does it anymore, in fact Streetfighters in general are old hat
  20. I had a rocker gasket that was like a thick orange rubber type. They were awfful so be aware. Now got Cometic & it works great
  21. Where's my pic gone? Sensible police invaded again?
  22. Coated plenty of frames & never had issue with numbers And stripping em (if you really needed to) is easy when it has to be blasted for whatever you plan next, other than [painting, where you just key it & off you go!
