Srad Yoke Info? Update!
CockneyRick replied to CockneyRick's topic in Water Cooled, V-Twins, Singles and 2-strokes
Aren't they 52/56 though? -
Yea found the right one on Alpha sports, tis offset toward centre of engine, not to one side like this is.
-
Could be that the strainer was changed too with other sump?
-
The oil strainer fouls the side of sump, so which one's wrong? GSX1100F engine, strainer came with engine & sump was bought cos the one with it was a GSXR750M one?

Can anybody help, as i have barely any knowledge of these wateryfangled things! I'm fitting parts to my Slabby framed drag bike & have fitted (in error) a top/bottom yoke that was too narrow at the forks. I couldn't get the wheel in & tightened up with the spindle sticking out on both ends! Looks like 207mm. I have got what i believe are 750W forks, wheel, discs & spindle. It now seems the yokes (2 top 1 bottom) are most likely from K1-K3 series, as they are 207mm spacing, & also have a centre damper mount on bottom yoke, one of the tops have the damper weights underneath too, so i think that's likely Busa & the other, not a clue? So my question finally is, other than the 98> 750 USD, what other yokes will fit? Top & bottom! I have learnt that i most likely need a 214mm fork spacing? Forks are heatshrinked, so are silver underneath.

I got plenty of nylon washer/spacers, wot size are you after & bolt size?
-
-
I plan to do same, but with 2 screws to stop it twisting
-
Yep, 1127 lump, 750G frame, 1100 slabby tank. Been a long time since i messed with a slabby base tbh!
-
Tis an 11 lump in a 7 frame, mebbe that's the difference?
-
-
Ok, i'll have it then please
-
Having done a root about, i believe this is the way to realign it, every point centred! Can anyone confirm so i can put it all back together?
-
got the basket off to make things easier! Just shoved it in as you see it, so not guaranteed right place?
-
Can you tell me where the gearshaft & end pawl would locate? Plenty of options to put it in wrong tooth!
-
-
Well as it's for a straight line drag bike, i should be ok! Once everything is assembled, i'll look at drilling & sticking an Avdel nut in the triangular spar area to mount the damper holder bracket
-
Sorry, it's a 54mm one i need
-
Ok, i'll look tomorrow as i've locked up now. Cheers

Lost me there, clutch cover & all the plates removed. Inner & outer baskets still in place cos i don't have a big enough socket for the inner basket nut!

Def wasn't locaated! However, shaft won't come out far enough now to put a new circlip on, any suggestions? And i can't engage any gears either?
