  1. One of the few things i do understand
  2. Red circle= broken tip Blue circle= Screw that fell out & probably broke the tip off
  3. Yes, if you have deep pockets
  4. You got your money back, don't worry over it as the list could be huge & possibly costly
  5. Not recommended on CV carbs, but i've done it on my Yoshi. Better off with dual filters, K&N or S&B which leads to re-jetting. If your bike is standard, don't bother as it'll never run as good unless Dyno time is used too
  6. Not really, the reason i prefer Pirelli & Dunlop is because they err on the narrower of the 180 & therfore on most of my assemblies makes chain run & fitment easier
  7. It's not, just the std 180 on it. Can't remember make as it was 14 years ago, but i'd guess either Pirelli or Dunlop as they were my prefered choice
  8. I agree when std exhaust & carbs running, but my old one used to freely rev all the way up.
  9. Don't use a 750 CDI on the 11 engine, has a higher rev limit & can pop your engine
  10. Can't see why not, it's the ones i've used to hold things in palce on my slabby frame
  11. Yea, that's the downside in having to change the yokes & wheel if i go back to Slingy or 750 anything. Prob just stick with these 11's & strap em if needed.
  12. Yea but the corrosion is between the Ally hole & the outer face of the rivnut. Seeing as that will be a permanent fit (and the inner thread is safe) i doubt it's any sort of issue i've ever encountered
  13. I thought he was on about the spacer (or not) between forks & bearing face. Should have worded it better. Yes there's a strengthening spacer inside the wheel itself, trapped between the 2 bearings
  14. Anybody know who does the (black wire) coated clutch cables, for a GS1000? Like a teflon type to aid use?
  15. I also get them to ring me on the phone in their hands to get the number, never a piece of paper
  16. Cunts, def sounds like a scoping operation! I'm always wary of selling from my address, but as a buyer not keen on buying from somewhere not the sellers address. Vicious circle really! Had the Pikeys on a field nearby, they send the kids out on pushbikes scoping the garages, i never opened mine for a week till they were moved on!
  17. About these watery cooly things. But here goes.... I have a 1100 fronty in the drag bike, are there shorter forks? IE 750 etc? Don't wanna do shit loads of changes, wheels yokes etc, but i guess summat will have to be! Trying to figure if it's worth the hassle, or just try drop the forks more if i can.
  18. As a whole it's not worth stealing, but in bits (especially if they knew the spec) It's worth a lot. Chances are it's someone who heard it was available to sell. Good luck finding it
  19. I might be shouted down, but the 11M wheel in Srad ain't easy. Better off with the proper wheel tbh. If it's so you can run the speedo, then go back to Slingy forks. The Srad "spacer" is actually the nut that is gripped by the fork bottoms & screws onto the spindle with the spacer as part of it.
  20. They have a habit of tripping with age if you go over a bump that shocks em to pop
  21. Got an Srad triple in my Slabby 750 drag bike frame, straight in
