  1. yeah they are the 750 and 1200 inazuma's use the same 32mm carbs.
  2. you find the O ring on the 1200 bandit carbs.
  3. I assume the float heights where set right !!!!
  4. ive fitted quite a few genuine float valves and never seen one fail, where exactly is the leak coming from ?
  5. maybe the intention is to upgrade the skinny forks for some beefier ones but keep the overall look ?
  6. did you use genuine float valves ?
  7. they use the same carbs as the bandit 600 if that helps ?
  8. I have a bandit 600 rear wheel in a 1983 GSX1100 swinger (on my GS750), when the wheel is adjusted forward the tyre is very close to the inside of the arm, so I think you might have clearance problems ??????
  9. You can if you want. I use a 530 on mine. Yeah the chain is pretty close to the frame and tyre but with no contact.
  10. yes he will with a 180 tyre.
  11. put the vac pipe on the tap and suck it when its on ON and RES. it should flow nice and free. if it doesn't then the problem is still with the tap. check vent in tank and have you got plenty of fuel in it
  12. yeah the large tank is hard to find and expensive when you do but their is some nice bikes with the smaller tank. like this one.
  13. its a shame they put the smaller tank on some GS/GSX bikes, i think it changes the look. could you find the larger tank over their ?
  14. My first post was tongue in cheek !!!!!! But some people have no sence of humour. Thats all
  15. can't say ive ever seen one but im sure someone has done one !!!! are you sure it needs a new chain ? is the tensioner ok ? do you know the mileage on the engine ?
  16. for me im not looking for big BHP for road use, my old 1100 has enough for me to get about on and helps keep my licence (and life) a bit longer I'd prefer to spend my money on making the bike look good and ride safer when suzuki started with F.I. i had a bit of a nightmare with early problems with the systems, and fixing a bike with a laptop plugged in is not my idea of fun yeah im old school. im also having another nightmare with the F'I' on my fecking car !!!!!! yes I know when its working its better than carbs but when its not it can be a twat to fix. BUT THATS JUST MY OPINION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. this is JUST a question before anyone gets on their fucking high horse so does the smallish amount of gain in power/performance out way the expense and hassle of fitting a F.I. system to an old air cooled engine ?
  18. on PRI the fuel should flow free and full, maybe a blockage ? time for a strip though.
  19. yours is a conventional chain, a hivo chain is a series of flat plates in a row instead of rollers (like yours) they are a bit more fiddley to fit the bandits use a Hivo. like this Fits Suzuki GSF 1200 Bandit 2001 Timing Cam Chain – Open with rivet link | Eblag
  20. yeah you do, I use some strong thick wire to hold then together ( last thing you want is the chain to drop down the tunnel) it will be necessary to unbolt the sprockets of the cam's. before you put it at TDC undo and remove the lower sprocket bolt then onto TDC. their is a tool to split and join the cam chains for both normal and Hivo.
  21. the official Suzuki way is to strip the engine down and remove the chain off the crank as the chain is endless !!!!!! the other way is to buy a chain with a soft link and feed it through with no1 cylinder at TDC.
