  1. Carb float seat on that no,4 pot either tap the carb with screwdriver handle (plastic) or pull em out again check seat, they do that if dropped or left a long while, just needs releasing . Overfueling is due to it not shutting off.

  5. Agree with that I have done most of the above swaps! 1052 bottom end with b12 cylinders on opened 1052 cases. 750 dot head skimmed by 0.005" upperton flow job stg 2 yoshimura cams. Made 147bhp. 86lbs torque + With micron gsxr 1000 headers ! Just get swapping Frankenstein motors are awesome fun.

  7. Just digging about on,t tinter net, for trick race rearsets for slingshot! What fits??? Anyone retrofitted others as heard k5 may fit with opening bolt holes up! Or any others that will do. cheers in advance.

    How much bhp?

    Slabbie turbo hybrid, 1052 bottom b12 top end Wsr turbo system 34mm tin tops 2/1/2" system . Mre lock up xj 650 -turbo regulator, Td04-hl16t turbo. 209 bhp, 111lbs torque.

  13. Thanks Dan, Hope Dyno goes well chap! And defo breather x2 you will need another breather need two on cases minimum -8 pref -10. These bigger turbo motors breath a lot.
  14. Sorry Gixer was taking the piss! Harley's are fairly heavy I know! Dan seen the w turbo at stus this am looking good matey! is your breather at lock up welded inside or screw in bung? Just susing man out at mo.
  15. Airbox with free flow filter every time, check out jonny bumps bike! Speaks volumes after all the r&ad work he's carried out ! Carbon Airbox panel filter works a treat ! So proof in the pudding , Airbox less hassle in jetting and Dyno time.
  16. Be ok Gixer, buells weigh 400kgs most of that's ditch pump motor lol, so gsxr is a feather weight by comparison!
  17. Great news then Dan, Stuart uses Track electronics John is very good at custom maps and odd ball running /tuning too. Sure it will be sweet.

    Interesting thread this me likely as Dynas do seem to go pop easy! Even fresh ones but on the other hand my buddy chris has had some on his fighter for 15years no bother??? wtf each madness. He's running 8mm Taylor's yellow of course lol. Suits yours too jonny....
  21. Your right Jonny, not for me it's my old motor which I just could not part with so decided to refresh it and put some nice parts on to then sell complete set up ! I'm going N/a for a bit obviously in gsxr slingy frame! But 14 injected motor . All newer Gsxr running gear! K9 I think I've got.

  23. Well just got my 1216 bored block back from Daimco , four day turn around which I'm very happy with cheap too. So apart from Gaskets and and valve job she will be built back up with newly made quick access windowed lock up cover , and steel buttoned base plate ready for new owner. Had this motor a long while and Really am enjoying rebuilding it this far. It's 1052 bottom end with Wsr machined mouths to accept b12 decked block and, top end made 209 at rear wheel last time 7psi boost,with 20% loss of compression due valve seat decline. Now it should be capable of 10psi easy and -225-245hp . Happy hector today at least things can progress.
  24. There very nice but to be fair ! Lots of them popping up all over now Mr Lee Johnsons one is very nice and also very quick with wee man on board!!! Also seen several racing at Spa few weeks back, great ole Skool race bikes with new fresh lease of life in classic scene!
