  1. I've already got clip-ons and a big round headlight... now where's my spare seat to get it re-covered in brown?
  2. You will likely need to modify the torque arm to clear a 180. I originally bent mine however it cracked in use so had it welded in the end.
  3. 5.5 / 180 here. Took a while to get it handling sweetly, settled on 36 psi f&r. Mine is pretty low though due to the 17s and 400 front end.
  4. Anyone ever extended #23 to do away with #26?
  5. Have you seen this? http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/archives/404
  6. Mine has a modified tank instead. Was always going to remove the fuel level sender (bike is JDM with 3-clock dash originally) so did the necessary coil clearance at the same time. I wasn’t sure about airbox or no airbox at the time so that was how I went to allow both options. In hindsight now that it runs really well after much carb fettling so definitely no airbox, I’d probably do it differently so no tank mod was required. It would then be easier to fit another tank later etc. Mind you, I did use the airbox space for something else in the end . One of these days I should make some brackets to lose those cable ties though.
  7. I found a new problem with their computer software, got a quick response and an updated version that fixed it.
  8. I had an ignitech on a (non-oss) bike a few years ago. Was easy to program and adjust different ignition curves and let me mess with redline, setting tacho accuracy by laptop as well as the option for a shift light, quick shifter etc. All impressive on a 1989 bike.
  9. If it’s a vacuum tap you could also find the vacuum hose and check it’s attached at both ends and free from damage/wear ie holes.
  10. No, just the mounting holes
  11. Can’t see much in that photo however mine has 2 on the back for the side stand switch.
  12. See other thread. Locking this one.

Always fancied one of these with a slabby 750 engine, some 17” wheels etc.
  14. 650 bandits and GSX1400s aren’t OSS bikes, so probably not surprising that they are rarely mentioned on here
  15. I had poor idle and part throttle running problems last year. Whipping off the pod filters revealed that one slide was miles out after I’d adjusted the needles with the carbs in situ. Carbs came off, balanced as above, easy, sorted. Needle changes worked perfectly too, result.
