Don't know anything about this retard wire ?
Just get a full exhaust system, I wouldn't bother with a altered standard end can you will just be wasting your money. Lots of good aftermarket exhaust system out there but all depends on how deep your pockets are.

Welcome to OSS!
We haven't even started on the running gear

Stick around and have a good look through the project section and your eyes will be opened.
But one thing, we only name Suzuki's on here, any other bikes are NOT aloud to speak about
As to your up grades you can also put the gsxr750 38mm carbs on, you will need the rubbers inlets as well but if you don't want to spend $$$$ on new carbs they work very well and gives you a real good boost.
You will also see there is quite a lot of your countrymen on here, and I think there was something in the events section for a U.S meet up.

Welcome to OSS
You're going to get (put a turbo on it pretty soon
)
It all depends on how long you can/want to take the bike off the road?
Easy start, gsxr oil cooled cams go straight in (just need to swap your cam chain wheels over) and then do a valve clearance.
Air box, make the intake hole at the rear much bigger, heard they are restricted there.
Down pipes, link pipe, end can get rid and get some good race system on it, again exhaust is restricted.
Then you're going a bit more into the engine, gsxr/gsxf 750 DOT head bumps the bhp up, bolts straight on but does lift the carbs up a bit. Lots have done this on here.
Then you're also going into removing air box putting dual pod k&n filters on the tuning the carbs or getting some nice trick carbs for it.
Then big bore 1216cc with the standard head and get it ported/gas flowed, this way you can bypass the DOT head
And so on.
Be aware, once you start you will never finish

The rear caliper hanger for the gsxr that has the rubber o ring bush thing in it.
I take it, if you can just push the steel insert out, It's fu#ked?
-
Yes milk is not a good oil for the chain
Will the bike/ rev counter rev past 3-5 rpm or does the rev counter just stop and the bike still revs?

Go on then I will ask, just to make you happy

Just to be safe, I've remove the sump and check the oil pick up strainer mesh is clear and all them shavings have not got blocked in it restricting the oil flow to the rest of the engine
but that's just me.

When you do that is if you keep the bike. Before you take the Rh side cover off you will need to drain the oil.

If it was me, I'd get a new Rh and lh side cover gasket and cam cover gasket, also get a sump gasket, get some new oil and a filter. Drop the oil remove the oil filter, remove the sump, see if there is any bits in there that shouldn't be there. Take both side covers off and check all is ok in there then take off the cam cover check the cam chain is ok and the cam chain tensioner is working properly as they do stick, check the valve clearance, turn engine over by hand and recheck to check you haven't got a sticking valve.
And get rid of that exhaust rap before it rots you exhaust.
Good luck and keep us posted on what you find

The gsxr1000 ti headers are good, got a set on the 1127 kat but they do hang a bit low, so on a 750 motor might be a bit to low?
You can heat them up and be d them

If you use the rf600 front wheel, you will get a 120 front tyre instead of the 110 on a b6.
The rf6 uses the same discs, calipers etc as the b6 just has a bigger rim
had one in a set of b6 forks on a gs1000, wheel went straight in the b6 forks and yokes with no messing

I believe the b6 rear will go in the standard swingarm with not much hassle, probably get the b12 rear in with a bit more messing
Have see 3 spoke wheels in standard forks on here before so can be done.
-
As above, meany things can/do change the handling. 10kg may not seem much but if your new forks are shorter than the old one less spring etc to component for that wight, are the now yokes at the same rack? Is the front tyre the same 60,65,70 profile?
Start with moving the forks up/down through the yokes and see what the difference is and take it from there.

You'd be better putting this in air cooled section

I didn't like any of the coloured seats as they always looked dirty.
The gsxr slabside and slingshot are getting to that age now where you are starting to get the annoraks that the bike has to be more than standard as it did when it came out of the factory
Seen some of the said people at shows having a argument about whether a stamp/sticker is 5mm out of place. These people need to get a life

I prefer the black/silver and may sell more as not as many in that colour BUT most people who are looking for a standard gsxr always think of the most common blue/white
But they are sheep

I've always used Aluminium top hats, keeping the original bearings sleeves.
Then the bearing sleeve is still doing its job and the top hat is just a size reduce spacer and should not move in the swingarm once fitted and bolted up in place.

Braided oil line leaking
in Oil Cooled
Posted
Mine started doing it at the end of last year.
I've just got some new oil line and ends, hopefully will be fitting them at weekend.
The old ones have been on for about 10 years +
