Info needed,
What engine, what exhaust, what carbs etc etc
-
Welcome back
As with all things, how deep are your pockets
for a good cheep stainless one have a look at Delkevic exhausts or black widow.
B6/B12 down pipes I believe will fit the gsxr750.
The gsxr1000 do fit the 1100 but do hang a bit low so on a 750 ground clearance maybe a problem.
-
+1 with Dezza, AN8 for me all the time. AN10 are just to big on the fittings, I think the 10 just look to big on a air/oil cooled bike
-
I bet there is, but is there anybody running gsxr1052 tin top carbs on a gs1000 tuned or standard.
Could you tell me the carb settings you have as a starting point?
Was thinking a 136 main with k&n pod filters and open end can?
Thanks

That’s not entirely true, the dimensions are the same and yes the rear bottom hole is a different size, and foot pegs welded on, and the bottom engine mounts are welded on, the lock stops are different sizes, the 600 doesn’t have the bolted cross member at the Front either.. but apart from that they are identical, and yes the 600 frame tube dose fit the 1200,.. but like Tony said it looks pants
And 70:quid for that part,, Fek my old boots…..
I thought, you'd be the man who knows

From what I'm told on here the MK1 600 and 1200 frames are the same apart from the rear bottom engine mounts and the rear foot peg hangers.
Someone will be along to confirm that this
-
Maybe a case of stripping them to find out
-
I believe the standard b12 shock is softer than the gsxr shocks.
-
First of all, they are not set equal, they both need to have the same amount of lines showing on the big but part. Also the same amount of clicks on the flat head (top)
A full pic of the forks top/bottom and length of fork top the centre spindle, and what are the dimensions of the forks at both top and bottom yokes?
All that will help ID your forks

You could keep the standard bearings in, make a sleeve to go through the standard wheel bearings to reduce the size down to 20mm.

Never used a ignitech so can't say anything about them.
Got a Dyna S on my gs1000 and has been on it for must be 15+ years with no problems ( just jinxed myself
) running with Dyna green coils.
Got a Dyna 2000 on my gsx1127 powered kat with green coils, did have to send that back for a repair after about a year but Dyna repaired if FOC but since then it's been on the bike for about 8+ years with no problems.
Each to there own, it's like the Dyna carb kits some like them some hate them

Also have a look for wear in the emulsion tubes in the carbs.
Had the same thing on one of my bikes.

Welcome to OSS
Most people use the latter k2 wheel etc as they are much lighter than the old heavy slingshot front wheel and less messing

And the slingshot

I know there is a difference between the bandit 12 and gsxr can covers (can chain guide in the centre)
Is there a difference between the gsxr 750 and 1100?
Thanks

Which gsxr model front forks have you got?
We need more info to answer some questions
-
First, welcome to OSS.
As it's a aftermarket one it could be anything, if it one of the cheep Chinese ones probably the thing itself.
Pictures always help.
You can get all sorts of aftermarket clocks off eblag

So, the answer to will a vx800 rear wheel fit the gs850, is yes.
The main pain with this, is you need to remove the hub to put the wheel in/out as the tyre is a bit fat to go past the inner hub. (I had a 160 on it but you can fit the 150) us the xv800 caliper hanger and disc, you can then use a vx800/gs500/gsx600f/gsx750f rear caliper.
Tyre pressure is down to the rider, I ran 38psi in the rear. Front try 36psi.
And welcome to OSS

Cams
in Oil Cooled
Can't remember who and I've deleted it from my phone
but they put a full listing of all cam numbers for most if not all oil cooled motors.
