Is this gasket the correct fitment for GS110- crankcases? It seems to be obscuring the oilways. Both sides the same.

According to the fische, there’s an o ring goes over each one of these two rear corner studs, at the base. What’s it’s function? Anyone got new ones in gasket set they can measure for me? I’ve built up a canny stock! The motor is Katana 1000.

As to the frame no’s. If you totalled your bike here, in the UK, if it went to an official dealer needing a new frame, it would be ordered by said dealer, and would arrive un-stamped. Dealer would then stamp new frame with original number, and scrap old frame.

Yes. The heads got to come off. Use only genuine Suzuki rings. Pattern will leak. You’re saying Katana? We call them ‘Teapots’ over the pond. GSX1100F. I can’t remember if it’s possible to lift the head in the frame. Someone will be along shortly. And welcome!

Wraith put some kind of LED in his Kat. Maybe Kat/ET shells are the same size? Toyota MR2 lamps fit as well.

Hello and welcome. Frame doesn’t look like GS750 with the ‘kink’ in the tube near sw/arm pivot! Any pictures with the tank off ? And, if the frame number starts GS650, that’s likely what it is! @wraith knows a bit about those smaller GS’s. He’ll be along shortly!

Might be stating the obvious here but, have you tried your local Suzuki dealer? They may surprise you!

Anyone painted their aircooled motor in Silver? How did it turn out? Has it lasted? What did you use? Did it look ok? Not too bright/silvery ect? Trying to get mine done before the weather turns bad.
