Come and play with us I race with csbk good fun and very easy going bunch three main classes vintage, AMA and open there is a neo classic class bandits etc
  3. Hoping to do all the rounds this year with CSBK dates and tracks announced nurburgring gp track 05/05/18, schleiz german TT 09/06/18, spa 29/06/18, Dijon 27/07/18 and Oschesleben 28/09/18 10 races not sure if this is the same meeting as the endurance round slabby his time the gs1000 Yoshi can have a rest for the year
  4. I might be able to supply the internals if you need some unfortunately reactive suspension stripped them so I don't know how them come apart
  5. Cheers John engine looks great I am racing at oscherleben at the end of sept that is the last round of the csbk season so I will come and grab it before then
  6. Only difference I thought was the 1100 have a rubber insert on the foot peg itself otherwise exactly same the 750 are solid alloy
  7. Hi Duncan all sorted on the 750 slabby race bike power on now but nothing to spark plug power to cdi and coils but no sparking not sure why to be honest
  8. If this is a slabby swingarm it doesn't have dog bones that's why funky monk made the whole billet bell crank a longer shock will help a little but it will contact the fork part of the bell crank
  9. You need to contact Mark stokes funky monk racing he had a batch of billet linkages made for racing to raise the back end he may still have some for sale
  10. I Can post a picture of the head cooler fittings I have just installed First buy the Torque kit Plus you will need a straight 1 No AN 8 fitting to the bottom feed, depending how much room under tank 2 No AN 6 straight or 90 deg fittings plus another 2 No straight or 90 deg to the T fitting 1 No AN 8 Straight or 90 deg from the T to the oil cooler and then what ever oil cooler you buy the fittings to connect it ideally 2 no 90 deg AN 8 Mark
  11. Yank web site and a couple of classic tt bikes have done it it's for my race bike not road obviously there is the sigma slipper but that is nearly £700 which is a bit steep
  12. Hi everyone has anybody carried out this on a bandit / gsxr 1127 engine I am aware that it is possible to fit a gsxr 750/1000 k slipper clutch but don't seem to be able to find any details cheers Mark
  13. I will be there with the CSBK boys racing Friday and sunday and some old exhaust pipe for jelly
  14. Have a look on evil bay suzuki bandit 600 mk1 sprocket cover and few will come up you will need the cover, lifter mech behind the rubber bung, cable clutch lever and the perch the length of the pushrod is a bit of trial and error to get right but it's only short bit of 6mm bar make another if you muck up
  15. hi I am in the process of converting my gsxr race bike to cable clutch the 600 bandit cover, cable and lever perch were supposed to be from the bandit but what ever way I route the cable it is too short and it ought to be too long can some one confirm the length of a standard bandit 600 clutch cable before I start ringing venhill for a one off mark
  16. These are quite a complicated bit of kit and I would suggest taking it to be set up on a dyno where are you based ? you need to make sure they understand carbs most places are only used to setting up injection systems now
  17. hi john is that my spare engine it look very clean !! mark
  18. Hi just checked the bearing I have are 47mm o/d by 15mm I/d and 13.80mm wide which are fitted to a slingshot wheel let me know if you want them
  19. I might have some new ones spare I fitted but not used I am using the slingshot forks as well and the have a 20mm spindle
  20. we set the front end first then set the back, so decided what clearance you need under the engine and keep the bike flat I had already changed the wheel from 19" to 18 so that affects the ride height Mark
  21. yes I had to send the triangular measurements to Maxton when they built the shocks I will send over some piccys and pm dims as its a race bike to increase ground clearance the bike sits higher even with cutting down cases you will grind them
  22. If it helps I've had mine braced by harris they moved the top shock mounts and removed the old suzuki bottom shock mounts if you don't do that you really limit choice of rear shocks
  23. if it helps I might have the top shock mount including stiffening plates spare I moved the top mount on my gs1000 Yoshi to lay the shock down so it works more efficiently and I cut them off mark
  24. Usually if the gears don't engage properly or won't disengage it's worn sides on the gear selector dogs look at your spare cases and see if they are scored I wouldn't use moles too much you will bugger the splines on the gear shaft and that will need replacing as well good luck
