    Fuckin motor

you need to be a bit more logical with testing first try the compression tester on a know good engine make sure its ok then spin the engine over on each cylinder and record numbers I don't think those numbers are too bad its more important they are close to each other if you put a little oil in each cylinder 5ml spin again if its a higher reading this time the rings are shot sounds more like miss timed cams to me may be 1 tooth back this means valve open when its should be tdc = no power good luck

    oil fittings

I have just had this done by a friend of mine at a company called hyphose he swagged the braided hose to the original steel ends for me
  8. If you are on a budget it would be worth having a look at the ignitech system lot more sophisticated than a dyna and cheaper
  9. it looks in pretty good nick how bad were the carbs gummed up ?
  10. I decided to keep mine in pepsi colours great fun to rag around on but I noticed my weight has bit more impact on the acceleration now
  11. funny enough I have a set of the original oval carbs from this bike
  12. I think I have seen that frame somewhere recently john !!!!!
  13. Might be worth doing a compression leak down test if proper race yoshi Pistons the tended to only have two rings not three but they changed Pistons every race so not worried about wear two ring Pistons suffer from piston slap not really suitable for road bike
  14. That's handy I've been trying to find a spare if knacker this one, mind you its carbon and weights nothing
  15. Hi Jon the belly/oil tray is from Harris Steve got it from the kool kawa endurance team and it fits perfectly managed to grab it when they braced the frame as the yoshi gs1000
  16. Hi chaps the wheels are 18 gsxr 1100 slabside in the vintage class can't use smaller and the forks are efe as its 16" front wheel the forks are longer the Maxton rear shocks longer too to make the bike higher it helps as I am grinding cases out otherwise
  17. And this is the bike at spa
  18. Hi this is brake side and first picture I have managed to upload !!!
  19. Yes I will pop some up for you I
  20. Depends if you want the option of just bolting on to a standard frame neatest would be to weld some bosses on to the frame which is what I have on my yoshi gs race bike but that is more work I use rgv/gsxr levers with solid footrest have a search for the raask and tarozzi and that will give you an idea for the mount plate
  21. I sold a set of raask rear sets couple of years ago they bolt straight on pop up on evil bay every now and then

    bhp

if the nitrous jet set at 20 BHP and remember these are very rough range estimates, then that is the total increase not per carb the best system is to have a wet nozzle fitted to each cylinder on the inlet side of the engine on a proper mount plate, rather than a single nozzle in the airbox as this cannot really be increased much before it hits its limit
  23. i Have used the spray on VHT gasket but its a bit messy i think the gaskacinch is a lot better to use
