  1. What's the problem with reusing them if they are in spec? There's loads of people using Busa pistons in there turbo bikes with no issues, cheap and easy way to big bore and lower compression for a turbo motor.
  2. My last set of Busa pistons cost £57,just check the ring gap to make sure they are in spec, have t paid more than £70 for a set of Busas,my bike gets used regularly and has done for the last 3 years, the set that are in my bike have been in for the last 2.5 years and have been running 10/11 psi most of the time with a high of 18psi ,they are very cost effective.Rebore and pistons came to £200.
  3. Hmmmmm turbos!!............

    EFE Clocks

I wanted to keep the original rev counter in mine, those GSXR clocks look nice in there though.
  5. Can anyone point me in the direction of the ET colour schemes over its model years please
  6. Good effort Kev,engine didn't come out of it too badly at the end of the year really. It's great to see one of the younger lads using an Oldskool bike to do this sort of thing on instead of a new piece of plastic so keep it up mate, well done.

    EFE Clocks

I've just removed the speedo from my EFE clocks and fitted a round Koso electronic speedo on a piece of carbon fibre in its place in side the clock binnacle.
  8. I think twin shock bikes should stay that way, keeps their identity.
  9. If it's rebuildable, why not try and sort the shock mount out, there's bound to be a scrap frame out there you can use to repair it.
  10. Well set up turbo bike be fine for day to day use.

    Stems

    Yes they are.
  12. Would have thought that would be a lot of work Daz,they are completely different suspension set ups, slabby uses a bell crank set up.Ross would be a good bloke to ask about them.
  13. Yes it does take it back to the tank, but you can't ever have just the ignition on to check anything without the pump running and it's keeping the floats pressurised with fuel all the time the ignition is on,I just think it's better this way,the pump,is running unnecessarily, same with the scavenge pump if it's on the ignition switch.
  14. You'll only do it a couple of times before you start remembering! Lol
  15. I just permanent live wired my through a switch and leave it on for a few seconds when I switch the ignition off, also fuel pump is wired through the kill switch so it goes off when the kill switch does, that way you can have the ignition on without the fuel pump running if you need to.
  16. Mines had the same a Facet pump on for 3 years with no issues up to now.
  17. Well done kev,you should be proud of that.
  18. Build is presently on page 5 of the members project section.
  19. Yes I think there was Kev,might have been Johnny or Dave that picked it up,not sure who mate.
