  2. I second the TEC shocks Wim,had them on my Turbo ET for about 3000 miles with no problems,they are good enough for my riding capabilities.
  3. Ive got one of FBMs on my bike,been on 2 years with no problem,sorry i dont know what PSI it is though.

    Bin the dot head,put the stock head back on,Busa pistons and a turbo.
  6. There might be issues with the discs in fiitting bandit wheels in slingy forks and vice versa,I'm sure the discs have different offsets,didn't you have to put a spacer(washer?) behind the discs on one set to centre the discs in the calipers? Can't remember which way round it was though.

    I'm in Dave,might have a oil boiler EFE to bring as well,I'm sure Ross and Chappo will be up for it as well,I'll let them know.
  9. Thanks, yours is nice too but I prefer the oil cooled motors,I like the exhaust exit in the tailpiece
  10. Never mind standard bikes,modified is the way forward,bin the old Aircooled boat anchor and away you go
  11. Slabby,slingy 750/1100 stems fit bandit yokes,my ET has no lock stops at all,never has had any.
  12. As viz says,run the pump for a few seconds after you stop to pull the oil away from the turbo,I run my pump from a stand alone switch so I don't need the ignition switched on to do it.

  17. You will have to make new mounts anyway if you are putting an oil cooled motor in either frame. Paul
  18. I'm building a 1200 mk1 bandit into a EFE over the winter,will the Bandit stem be a straight fit into the headstock,or a bearing swap or will I need a stem swap? And yes all you Aircooled Donkey lovers it will be having the Bandit motor as well ! Lol

SEP at Kegworth. 01509 673295 39 Sideley Road DE74 2FJ, excellent service,rebore do mine last year for £130 if I remember correctly,when you get your Busa pistons make sure the ring end gaps are within tolerance,and also you will need to find out the piston to bore gaps are well for the rebore,4thou springs to mind but check up on it.
  20. Gixer 1460 is right of course but the standard one will work,ill try and remember to put a pic up of mine when the head next comes off.
