Dialling in cams

Is there a 'how to' guide for dialling in cams on adjustable sprockets ?

I bought the whole kit from dale walker donkeys years ago, the dvd was very good, ive just been trying to find it, I have the degree wheel and positive stop but no dvd, if I can find it ill let you know Fozzy, if not heres an article by web cams, its time consuming but reasonably straight forward if you follow the steps.

I used to have Ray Debben's write up too, but as has been said, the old site's gone - it was a good description. Here's another decent article that helped me when I first had a go (and still check it before I do it).

I thought I had the one off the Old Debben website in PDF but cant find it.

The Link that @fatblokeonbanditposted is pretty much the same procedure that was on Debbens.

I made my own positive stop, worked OK..

To OP, dialling in cams may seem complicated and a bit scary, but it isn't. If you're patient and somewhat sober, and take it slowly step by step, you'll find that it's no big deal. Making up your mind on timing, overlap etc is another thing ...

I forgot about the Webb cams write up, it's closer to the one Ray had on his old site - you don't degree the cams very often, well I don't ! so it's good to remind yourself before you start - you can feel the difference if they're out - the crank / cam position can be out from new.

Nice write up Cgto - even the Australian pages ! Lee's good at explaining the subject - took me many reads of info before I got my head round it - the 'what's happening' and 'why' did finally sink in, then be confident enough to tackle the job.

I have it printed out. Just don't have a scanner. I'll try and get it scanned as it's handy info to have for the site.
