Swiss Toni Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Anyone know whose paintwork this is? I saved the 'photo off someone's project, but I can't remember if it was from the old OSS, or Proboards? Mine's due for the bodywork getting done. I was going to get it done in the Black/Blue, but I'd like to see this Silver/Blue on the bike before I make up my mind. So....who's is it??? 1 Quote
Captain Chaos Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 That colour scheme reminds me of a Spencer rep CB900. Don't do it. Black blue ET is awesome though. 1 Quote
Swiss Toni Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Funny you should say that! A Spencer rep, with modern running gear and an 1127 motor (Suzuki, of course), has been in the back of my mind for a while! 1 Quote
Swiss Toni Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Was Silver a factory option, or has he just done the silver with decals from Black/Blue bike? Quote
Fazz711 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) I am pretty sure that they had a siver and blue as I have a fairing in the loft that is silver and blue. That I am sure came off a standard ish bike. Edited July 28, 2017 by Fazz711 Quote
wraith Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 There was/are two sellers on eblag that have the silver/blue on the bike. (They are selling the decals, not the bike) as I was looking at them for the paint sceem for my et Quote
Blubber Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) There was once a limited edition gsx 750 e 1981 called " silver suzy " from factory, around 500 were made. Just search for " suzuki silver suzi " and you get enough hits and pics. Had a red frame and red decals. Edited July 28, 2017 by Blubber A Quote
Swiss Toni Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Cheers guys. I'll have a look at 'Suzuki Silver Suzi' and see what turns up! Quote

redbikejohn Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Almost all of them were that colour (or bloody close to it) in South Africa. Quote

You're right John. This is also a SA bike. Now that I've seen one in the flesh, I've decided to go with the original plan of Black/Blue! 2 Quote
