clivegto Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Mk4 regulator bracket, makes it 5mm higher and brings it 6mm closer to the sub frame from where I started with mk1 bracket. This gives clearance for all 4 pipes as well as room to adjust the top locking mut. 2 Quote

clivegto Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Modified the electronic tray that came with the frame that fits under the tank. Had to cut a bit out to alow the breather pipe from the rocker cover to poke through so the tray could sit flat on the frame mounting tabs. 2 Quote
clivegto Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Looks like the old coils were mounted hear, will try to use as many of the existing holes in it as possible. Made some 14mm spacors up to mount the coils to. Tank should clear the coils fine. 4 Quote
Wagola Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 That is looking good almost complete and ready to press the starter button !? Hope it looks better with the tank on but that seat looks like it came off one of your tractors in the background !! 1 Quote

Wagola Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Its just the way the seat sits perched on its rails with no tank or side panels. Still looking forward to seeing the bike in the flesh sometime hopefully. Quote
Dezza Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 (edited) That alloy electrics tray is going to get mightily hot. The one supplied with a frame kit from Harris was the same shape but made from fibreglass instead. Edited November 22, 2020 by Dezza Quote

It did have gsxr750 motor in last with same tray but engine was slightly lower. Might fit some heat shield underneath. Quote
clivegto Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Have left a air gap between the coils and the tray. 3 Quote
