Danm54 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Bought one for my watercooled 1100, plus the other gearbox bearings. Just bought them from Robinsons and threw the invoice away quickly! Quote
Ted M Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Have a look on Partzilla It's $74 on there or about £50. I have ordered from them before and they were reliable. If I remember correctly I paid £47 import duties on an order worth £170 Quote
Oilyspanner Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 'Kin hell FBOB - sounds like we're getting the 'bend over sir, this might hurt a bit' treatment. As TedM has said, look abroad and often even with VAT added to everything it can save a goodly bit. I bought my new valve springs from the US, even with the import VAT it worked out £40 cheaper. fatblokeonbandit Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Ive found them in Holland for 75 euros plus post and in the US for the same in dollars, done some research and the same bearing is fitted to Suzuki outboard motors and costa £144 funnily enough!! So looks like Holland is favourite, robbing barstewards.... Quote
Ted M Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 What place is that, it's the cheapest I've heard of them offered in Europe Quote

I've used them for bits, it's just a one man band. Sound bloke, no problems at all, would happily use him again. No extras VAT / import duty to pay on goods bought within the EU, you're paying Dutch VAT to the seller, nothing further owed. Quote
