clivegto
Fitted 520 16/43 sprockets and chain, 1.8mm chain to frame clearance and also 1.8mm chain to tyre clearance so it's all fairly tight but there is clearance 4 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
What I have discovered is that the early R1 back sprocket will also fit the later gsxr1000 wheels as well. 3 Quote Link to comment

clivegto
Started to make a spotlight bracket I was going to copy the Spondon one I have acquired from another site member but I also want to mount a oilcooler upfront too. Got the top part hacked out this evening. Edited October 16 by clivegto 2 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
I purchased a secondhand Mocal 16 row oil cooler with m22 female fittings for 50 English beer tokens. Bit more whittling at the 5mm ally plate and it's starting to look like a cooler bracket 4 Quote Link to comment

They used to light the road ahead on my rinky dinky 2 stroke way back in the 90's 1 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Bit of 2x3 ally angle for the bottom cooler bracket. Still work in progress 2 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Bottom faring mount has been cut of at some point which will need repairing when I strip the frame. Bit more done on the cooler/light bracket this afternoon. 7 Quote Link to comment
clivegto
I have a nice little Acwell speedometer/rev counter with idiot lights that was on a fighterd B12 I bought a couple of years ago which I think will look great on this. New top yoke that used to be a bottom yoke has a couple of m6 mounting points on the front. Fashioned a bit of aluminum angle into a bracket to hold the speedo. I have made 2 more mounting points either side of the speedo if I want to mount other things like a FPR gauge and AFR gauge or even a completely different setup. 8 Quote Link to comment

Performance wise they're great and I love the over engineered vibe of them. Only down side with mine are they have worn a bit after a summer of fairly heavy use. I'm going to use some very thin shim washers to remove excessive play. Greg's have no play in them whatsoever and he does use them so I'm not sure why mine have become a little wobbly Quote Link to comment

Perhaps I inadvertently washed out some grease. I shall grease them up after shimming..... Quote Link to comment
Wee Man
The ISR's look a bit bonkers, that's why I like them. They work well, feel decent. I've never owned Brembo, so can't compare. Quote Link to comment

Rncv
Interesting, always keen to find out what others are like. I'd like to know if AP racing ones are decent too (the price deffo is!) Still trying to find a brake setup that will lift the rear wheel. Currently have brembo rcs master with p4 brembo callipers, although they are good the rear still won't lift Quote Link to comment

I'm talking in terms of having more braking power than I have means of stopping it happening - if that makes sense? No doubt if I intentionally wanted to lift the rear it would go. I used to lift the back end regular with my old standard B12 when I was younger. @Rncvthe brembo master cylinders on the Harris Turbo Magnum combined with the R1 calipers are excellent Quote Link to comment
