Fitted 520 16/43 sprockets and chain, 1.8mm chain to frame clearance and also 1.8mm chain to tyre clearance so it's all fairly tight but there is clearance :DIMG_20240928_145535.thumb.jpg.b7810008f62e13c1a25c65ac1a2839b6.jpg IMG_20240928_145645.thumb.jpg.3fa5ad0d6d112c7ef0b51df742bc4a05.jpg IMG_20240930_162506.thumb.jpg.a3aded241a2cb71b05432cbb1baaf2d1.jpg IMG_20240930_163900.thumb.jpg.46194542bdb61ed805a66c1f82c8f0c7.jpg IMG_20240930_163843.thumb.jpg.fb5d2d0842f7a7d7af90f590ad8d4768.jpg IMG_20240930_163359.thumb.jpg.bb431a054823b306a4d3a216eaec6534.jpg

Sorry for late reply Clive, Looks lit the 520 chain is just over 20mm wide. IMG_20241016_173521.thumb.jpg.c3da1f9631d57e104407a66ad2b2f430.jpg

Started to make a spotlight bracket I was going to copy the Spondon one I have acquired from another site member but I also want to mount a oilcooler upfront too. Got the top part hacked out this evening. IMG_20241016_172534.thumb.jpg.6320ec107c6bfaa42f0c8f002028cbd5.jpg IMG_20241016_143643.thumb.jpg.73f9841d21efe752cb0519b5417f0d78.jpg IMG_20241016_145043.thumb.jpg.8bc5b0a925323f4226ad5e0b03cb521d.jpg IMG_20241016_152413.thumb.jpg.b053f090e563ffbb073a444ca4f69e20.jpg IMG_20241016_164318.thumb.jpg.b485c3cc1d229b893dae9d2439633b81.jpg

I purchased a secondhand Mocal 16 row oil cooler with m22 female fittings for 50 English beer tokens. Bit more whittling at the 5mm ally plate and it's starting to look like a cooler bracket  :DIMG_20241017_161600.thumb.jpg.e1614932dcff586ce21089e481b99188.jpg IMG_20241017_161434.thumb.jpg.a0ef104db1c5eac3cfcadbedccccc708.jpg IMG_20241017_162611.thumb.jpg.f995c30b71140303f74b071f3548fd6d.jpg IMG_20241017_163222.thumb.jpg.dc1a409813cbcc3911cf8e0466690c4f.jpg IMG_20241017_163310.thumb.jpg.2d6c4ba35717e88c6eafe1d1db8fd4b9.jpg IMG_20241017_163605.thumb.jpg.7e2c23261d32ecddaebdd562af9a1f5f.jpg

No ?

Do you have one? I think it would aesthetically look right there, another wide horizontal on top of the wide horizontal cooler. Just a thought.

I have a set of those spots hanging in the shed. They used to light the road ahead on my rinky dinky 2 stroke way back in the 90's

Bottom faring mount has been cut of at some point which will need repairing when I strip the frame.

Bit more done on the cooler/light bracket this afternoon. IMG_20241019_144836.thumb.jpg.8b9d2cb248c1f76efcf0c8e919f231e5.jpg IMG_20241019_152047.thumb.jpg.d7800093c3f0238a0ae48fc41e8442be.jpg IMG_20241019_164100.thumb.jpg.bf8413e5ea0b3021dbe9dbb540ecca13.jpg IMG_20241019_165041.thumb.jpg.a8f36480c11a0ba6a5840ab33ee25c6d.jpg

I have a nice little Acwell speedometer/rev counter with idiot lights that was on a fighterd B12 I bought a couple of years ago which I think will look great on this. New top yoke that used to be a bottom yoke has a couple of m6 mounting points on the front. Fashioned a bit of aluminum angle into a bracket to hold the speedo. I have made 2 more mounting points either side of the speedo if I want to mount other things like a FPR gauge and AFR gauge or even a completely different setup. IMG_20241020_153502.thumb.jpg.e9f8b4bd8222040a5b61f27dbe0fe9cc.jpg IMG_20241020_154208.thumb.jpg.fa00a05ad6c2dec49915b4b43ba48f2f.jpg  IMG_20241020_164402.thumb.jpg.d3afb34672510c6b3a78750741776940.jpgIMG_20241020_164236.thumb.jpg.44c410a201cb61312287b7fdfd467d92.jpg

Never used them in anger myself but @Havocand @Wee Manhave them on there bikes.

Performance wise they're great and I love the over engineered vibe of them. Only down side with mine are they have worn a bit after a summer of fairly heavy use. I'm going to use some very thin shim washers to remove excessive play. Greg's have no play in them whatsoever and he does use them so I'm not sure why mine have become a little wobbly :pimp:

Thinking about it I do pressure wash the bike out of laziness. Perhaps I inadvertently washed out some grease. I shall grease them up after shimming.....

Interesting, always keen to find out what others are like. I'd like to know if AP racing ones are decent too (the price deffo is!)

Still trying to find a brake setup that will lift the rear wheel. Currently have brembo rcs master with p4 brembo callipers, although they are good the rear still won't lift xD

Your not trying hard enough, you can lift the rear with just about any brakes, as long as they work, dosent have to be anything fancy, i can do it on a bog standard 1200 bandit and im a fat bastard..:tu

many years ago when i wasnt quite so fat..O.o

I'm talking in terms of having more braking power than I have means of stopping it happening - if that makes sense?

No doubt if I intentionally wanted to lift the rear it would go.

I used to lift the back end regular with my old standard B12 when I was younger.

@Rncvthe brembo master cylinders on the Harris Turbo Magnum combined with the R1 calipers are excellent  (y)
