DAZ
If it's a 2002 (mk2) you'll probably have to swap to mk1 inlets too as the later ones (bsr carbs) have a different spacing to earlier gsxr/mk1 bandits (bst carbs) 2 Quote Link to comment

Or should I round up some newer from a mk1 ? Thx for feedback…. Quote Link to comment
DAZ
If I remember correctly the early slabside gsxr 1052 had 34mm carbs ( tin tops) so aren't suitable but the 89/90 slingshot 1127 had 36mm carbs (plastic tops) like the bandit 1200. I think the 750 shortstroke motor in the pre98 teapot/gsxf and 88/89 gsxr 750 slingshot also used 36mm bst carbs. The RS carbs in 36mm & 38mm both use a 42mm spigot which should fit the 36mm suzuki intakes ( not mk2bsr types ) 1 Quote Link to comment

XzoB12
Well got everything sorted out on the RS38s . Got new set of MK1 intake rubbers. Lord what a difference! They are some noisy sonaguns with low idle . Not bad at all around 1250 or so . But Wow… 1 Quote Link to comment

Upshotknothole
Yeah, that sticky needs to be updated for intake rubbers. The intakes that fit the RS carbs are the hardest ones to find now, J/K 750 intakes or teapot intakes. I've got multiple sets that are all rock hard that I need to see about sorting. 1 Quote Link to comment
