great progress Ash

The  carb cable mount makes the cables exit vertically and when I tried then on gsxr motor they fouled the tank. You may not have this problem as its GS motor and looks to sit lower ,also mines a mag1 tank but thought it worth a mention. The general solution is mag4 style mag 2 tank. or altering the tank.I never got round to a solution was going to try

altering/make new  bracket .However this is about the point life got in the way of my projects

You are making good progress.  Got me hunting for parts I put away years ago for my stalled GS1000 Mag 2 projects. Keep posting the pics, it's getting me motivated. Your baffle welded in?  e99qoh.jpg
