Trickrick Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 Can anyone tell me if 1250 bandit headers will fit straight on 1200/1127 engine or is the spacing different. TIA Quote
wraith Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 Hi and welcome to OSS, Always best to introduce yourself first jumping in with questions Can't answer your question myself, but I believe the w/c 1250 blandit is totally different to the oil cooled motor, in width and height. 1 Quote
Dezza Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 It all depends what you mean by 'fit staight on.' If you mean a simple bolt-on job and you'll be able to ride off immediately, then probably not as the engines are completely different; if 'fit straight on' means 'made to fit eventually, using a combination of brute force and various power tools' then probably yes. 1 Quote

"if it don't fit, force it" 1 Quote
wraith Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 Anything will fit if you hit it hard enough with a big hammer it just won't look pretty 2 Quote
Trickrick Posted December 11, 2021 Author Posted December 11, 2021 Hi, Thanks for all the responses, I just needed to know if they would fit onto the Engine/Cyl Head without using a hammer etc. if the spacing of the ports were the same. Quote
clivegto Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 But you may be able to stretch the headers apart a bit to get them to fit like the gsxr1000k1 ones. Quote
Trickrick Posted December 11, 2021 Author Posted December 11, 2021 Thanks again for the responses. I'll find something to suit. Quote
