Tony H
Hi. Are camshafts from the power screen GSX 1127 motor the same as the GSXR 1127 motor? Quote Link to comment
wraith
I was told by one OSS member they where by his part numbers but then told by another member they where not by his part numbers, so best check the part numbers yourself to get a 100% answer Quote Link to comment
Gixer1460
And then, even if they are different, which is the better to use! Probably 2/10ths of FA difference, if any, in real world use LOL! 1 Quote Link to comment
Joseph
1127F same as 1052R i believe, so that will indeed make a difference Edited November 21, 2021 by Joseph Quote Link to comment
Upshotknothole
They stuck the same intake cams in everything except the bandits. Tony H
Very interesting. Taking this a step further. How do the powerscreen cams compare to Bandit 1200. Reason for asking is I have a knackered inlet cam on a Bandit motor. Spare Powerscreen cams on the bench ready to go in. However I can pinch some GSXR cams sat in a spare motor but that's more work. Gixer1460
Re the above chart - I thought the 600's had a different cylinder spacing to the 750 / 1100 engines? So how would the camshafts interchange? Quote Link to comment

I've been reading just that topic on my french gsxr forum. A couple of guys confirm that F cams on b12 fit and make for a nice beefy increase Quote Link to comment
fatblokeonbandit
750 J/K dot head inlet cams are 12711-06B03 750 slabby 86/87 are 12711-28A00 according to the parts fiche.?? check the right hand end and read off the stamped letter.. i measured a load a few years back when I was bored one day The B's came from a 88 750 gsxr, N's from a b12 the g from a 1100 teapot and the s from a 750 teapot I think It was 10 years ago so memory might have failed me.. Best cams fro a b12 ive found are gsxr J/K 750 Dot heads cams. 4 Quote Link to comment

I hope not I'm going to be putting 750 block and pistons on a b6 bottom end in the next year There was a old wright up in streetfighters mag some years ago (is it still going?) With one of there team putting a 750 top end in a b6 with the 884cc big bore etc and they said it made more bhp than a standard gsxr1100 But you must think as price of parts and trying to find some parts, is it just worth getting a 750 motor ? Upshotknothole
The list I posted is also for what's currently available still from Suzuki for sale. Suzuki being as cheap as they are, might have consolidated the cams down to just a few models to keep manufacturing as replacements. Only a guess. 1 Quote Link to comment

I like 1100 powerscreen cams I have used them in 2 turbo bikes 2 Quote Link to comment
