Like a teaser of a similar bike? 7.5 Yoshi engine though... That's a nice bike seen that online before, is there a build thread/details anywhere do you know? Quote
Pedda Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Iirc there was an article in a German bike mag back in the day 'bout that bike which was good enough to win trophies a few years back. That engine was a find under the counter at a former Suzuki dealer who used to support a race team. Not sure if I can find that article - must trawl through the basement. Quote

snoorder Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Mine's further back to have the sprocket closer to the swingarm. Have collars on the exhaust to make up the gap, works a treat but means more measuring. Same here with the similar Kawasaki Z1000 frame Quote
Peterrr Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I currently building an oil cooled 750 engine in my popup katana, (same frame as the 750ES) If you want I can measure the engine brackets for you.Fits perfectly, biggest problem so far is the fuel tap that is too close to the carburator.. working on that.. 1 Quote

Yes I did think when I was looking at that mount yesterday for @Cobby that it would probably need to be removed. I guess it just needs a new piece welding on slightly further out as its on the inside of the frame currently. Quote
