yantosh Posted November 7, 2020 Author Posted November 7, 2020 freshly built tee ell engine , can I sneak over to Edinburgh next to collect me wheels ...... 4 Quote
yantosh Posted November 8, 2020 Author Posted November 8, 2020 i sincerely hope that's the engine and arm in for good , place is mid renovation and I can't find the grease for the head bearings , so the forks can wait 6 Quote
yantosh Posted November 9, 2020 Author Posted November 9, 2020 grease got and legs on , side stand on (without stabbing myself in the hand.... pure luck) and a temporary rear wheel thrown in. I'll grab a temporary front tomorrow, let me add more bits and move it about without wearing it 4 Quote
yantosh Posted November 15, 2020 Author Posted November 15, 2020 a lot further from completion than the photo might suggest 7 Quote
yantosh Posted November 16, 2020 Author Posted November 16, 2020 so much for the looking like it was done , arm back out and the dodgy nylon sleeves removed ..... glad I remembered that , sneaky suspicion the bearing will hold up better , and since the telly box is shit I'll just stay out and refit the arm 5 Quote
yantosh Posted November 22, 2020 Author Posted November 22, 2020 proper wheels are in , spent the day bolting bits on, but its too dark and wet to get it outside for a decent photo , but I can now write a snagging list 3 Quote
yantosh Posted November 23, 2020 Author Posted November 23, 2020 rolled outside for a look. Still needs the tank panels , but they are getting wrapped just now 7 Quote
vizman Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 I don’t like the number board*.....but everything else is bitchin’ *don’t know if it’s just the angle or pure jealousy Quote
yantosh Posted November 23, 2020 Author Posted November 23, 2020 i was looking at a lot of KTM when i made the number board , when I get the tank panels back on it might flow better ? Quote

yantosh Posted November 30, 2020 Author Posted November 30, 2020 needed a 24mm allen key to tighten up the front spindle, but I appear not to have one , no mind... i have a welder and as luck would have it, M16 bolts and nuts have 24mm hex spindle tightened 6 Quote
yantosh Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 more butchery of M16 nuts, had to tighten the oil filter post , but it has no tightenuppers, Soooooooo, turn the M16 nuts into M20 x 1 half nuts and off we go 6 Quote
yantosh Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 wheel threw back in with the new bits , no point in pic, just looks the same then spend a couple of hours trying to get brake pedal in the right place, eventually did , but the clevis thingy was fully unscrewed, so that needs a bit of altering tomorrow . The clevis pins were just bought, £4 for two, not worth the effort 1 Quote
yantosh Posted December 3, 2020 Author Posted December 3, 2020 clevis thing altered, blasted and painted brake pedal assembly assembled 1 Quote
