fredbcj Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 What's the cure for a dragging clutch on a 1100 slingy, is the pushrod worn? Quote
Oilyspanner Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Likely the clutch and or the slave cylinder seals aren't doing their job - mine started to do this last year, fitted new seals in both and all was good again. Fresh fluid and a good bled are a must too, any air will make the clutch drag. Quote
clivegto Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) Could also be warped clutch steels. Edited August 9, 2019 by clivegto Quote

jonny1bump Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Or clutch basket notched from the plates Quote
fredbcj Posted August 9, 2019 Author Posted August 9, 2019 I will give it a look at this weekend, has anyone had issues with ebc clutch plates, a set came with the bike, but previous owner said he was recommended not to use, I've never had any issues, everyday road use Quote
Gixer1460 Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 You've been lucky then as most people have problems - generally slippage and / or dragging! Quote
