Scott Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 hi everyone ,how do I get the s rad front end to fit gsx750es, cheers Quote
Blubber Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Get a custom stem made. That's what I did to fit a b-king front end in my gsx1400... Or to fit a zx9r front rnd in my EF Quote
NorthernBloke Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 check the all balls bearing site to see of there is an option just to swap bearings. Quote
Daveyboy Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 My srad front end went straight in on my 750e just had to weld in a lock stop.theres a pic on my project build page 15 hours ago, Scott said: hi everyone ,how do I get the s rad front end to fit gsx750es, cheers 9 hours ago, NorthernBloke said: check the all balls bearing site to see of there is an option just to swap bearings. Scott Posted June 14, 2019 Author Posted June 14, 2019 Right guys ,after speaking to my mate last night ,we r going to go with the b12 forks, as we have a complete front end,so hopefully it might be easier, j7st got to work out bearings and the stem I suppose Quote
Swiss Toni Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 (edited) You might find the Bandit stem is wrong for the ES frame. If so, swap B12 stem for ES one. Edited June 14, 2019 by Swiss Toni Quote
wraith Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 Yes b12 stem will be to long, you can ever as @Swiss Tonisays stop the stem but you may need to make a sleeve for the top time where the stem fits, I found with a gs stem, the top of the stem was a smaller diameter to the b12, same bearing though. Or you could just make a (I think if I remember right) a 20mm thick spacer to go under the top yoke and above the castle nut, to space the top yoke up.I One last thing, with all front end swaps, you may need to sort the steering locks out. 1 Quote
Scott Posted June 15, 2019 Author Posted June 15, 2019 They both use same bearings, was thinking off machining the top down 20mm instead off spacer 1 Quote
kingofvenus Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 RF900 tree will work with B12 legs. It's what is on mine. The only drawback is with the RF you really can only use the stock non tube style handlebar assys. Quote
Swiss Toni Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 RF900 stem was way too short for my ET frame. Just saying! Quote
