  1. Of course it does, i swear the Alzheimers is getting worse! Cheers for reminder. Will get it on ramp once the Drag bike is off, it & fatty need some TLC
  2. Similar issue with the bored GS1100E. I did all the Starter clutch fixes as recommended, but i fear it has probably damaged it again. Not sure what i can do with mine as it's running a Dyna S?
  3. Ta, was just looking at it thinking it may not turn too well. Not as round as the ones i remember!
  4. So to save money, was gonna slot the timing plate. However, having removed cover i saw this. Not seen one like it, so is the principal the same & slot the 3 screws 5mm & turn clockwise by that amount? Or would a change/upgrade be a good idea? It's a GSX1100F engine
  5. Already fitted RS type seals in both wheels, so that's staying as is. Arm is a weight thing i agree, but it serves a purpose as a 1st build & RWYB. As said, when funds allow, then i'll get into the engine, look at moving battery down & back, having tank cut, decide on arm, etc etc. Just looking at simple basics, this is new territory here so don't be so rash @K.H.I
  6. 1st pic, assuming you are on about the wire attaching to the metal mounting point of the coil. I would suggest that whoever did it, was making an extra earth strap. Perhaps cos the mount to earth isn't very good, or they really think they need an extra one? But sseeing as the frame isn't P/coated, it seems a bit pointless. 2nd pic as far as i can see looks normal?
  7. It would be taken apart & the pins would then be matched to the petrol cap key. Make another key, that would then give you 2 keys that work the ignition & cap. Or do the same with the petrol cap & ignition key to get them matched.
  8. What details? Take it off & take it locksmiths!
  9. Running pods & a drag arm. I think without getting into the engine itself, looks like i've done as much as i can for now
  10. 41911-27A00 is Gsxr750 41911-06B00 is Gsxr1100 But as said, 11 in 750 frame & my template works. Impossible to measure, but i can copy it & post to you
  11. It does say 750 & i'm not sure they're different. But i have the ones i had made for a 750 framed 1127 lump
  12. I have a box of mounts, but sure i don't have any of these. But i also think i have the cardboard template for em. I'll look in next couple of hours once i showered & dressed
  13. Pinggggg.......... Anyone see that spring?
  14. Easier to take the ignition to a locksmith & get him to change it to the filler key
  15. Tis a basic loom, running 1 disc. Was thinking total loss, but that may be for later. It's more on the engine side without major surgery breaking out
  16. So what can i do to the drag bike that's cheap enough before i start proper tweaking next year? Looking at opinions on the stock GSX1100F engine that's in the slabby frame. So far, Dyna 3ohm, Lock up, as far as what i did so far. Don't look like it's gonna be done any time soon, so wondering what i should spend my sick money on
  17. Well if you give up on it, i might have it off you
  18. Numbers on all the inlet rubbers don't have the last digit stamped on. (Usually 0) Dunno why they do that? Tis strange that a few of you say they're for 91-92 1127 engines, I searched Hi & low & found nothing? Numbers are totally different! 13101-40C00 13102-40C00 13103-40C00 13104-40C00 And they moved the Cyl No to the 5th digit!
  19. 131*0-41B00 are NOS parts with no particular bike listing. (C) is probably a newer version but so old, again not listed.
  20. Not me being a pussy then! Although starter clutch is the usual nightmare. Thudding all the time. Gonna do the Ign advance trick once the Drag bike is finished.
