  1. does the 550 switch have a park position ? if so you won't need them 2 wires. basically you have a live wire up to the ign switch and with the switch in the ON position you should have live coming out of the switch. thats how my 750 is wired
  2. Just throw a big M on the side and be done
  3. yeah as wraith says, you won't go anywhere without the igniter box (CDI)
  4. when i built my Katzuma i put the engine in the frame, then i found a standard airbox, but when i come to fit it, their was no way it was going on !!!!!! luckily i only had the engine in the frame at the time
  5. it has to be cut off. ask me how I know
  6. sounds like it was drawing to much air, people have had some success with wrapping half the air filter to restrict the flow. but defeats the object of fitting separate filters. by the way you can't fit an inazuma airbox with the engine in the frame
  7. the seat isn't shown in the pic but it is in the list below, I didn't know they where available from suzuki as they are pressed in !!!!! the bandit 1200's seat is held in with a small plate and screw. CARBURETOR for Suzuki GSX 750 2000 # SUZUKI MOTORCYCLES - Genuine Spare Parts Catalog (bike-parts-suz.com)
  8. as I said the 750 and 1200 zuma uses B6 carbs.
  9. then the 600 bandit carbs will fit perfectly with an inazuma airbox and inlet rubbers.
  10. not sure what your setup is ? are you using an inazuma frame and engine ?
  11. this is why i said about B6 carbs, i put a set of b6 carbs on a b12 engine without changing anything, they worked spot on. even though the jetting is slightly different on the 1200 inazuma.
  12. yeah they are the 750 and 1200 inazuma's use the same 32mm carbs.
  13. you find the O ring on the 1200 bandit carbs.
  14. I assume the float heights where set right !!!!
  15. ive fitted quite a few genuine float valves and never seen one fail, where exactly is the leak coming from ?
  16. but did they stop the leak ?
  17. maybe the intention is to upgrade the skinny forks for some beefier ones but keep the overall look ?
  18. did you use genuine float valves ?
  19. they use the same carbs as the bandit 600 if that helps ?
  20. I have a bandit 600 rear wheel in a 1983 GSX1100 swinger (on my GS750), when the wheel is adjusted forward the tyre is very close to the inside of the arm, so I think you might have clearance problems ??????
  21. another classic lives
  22. You can if you want. I use a 530 on mine. Yeah the chain is pretty close to the frame and tyre but with no contact.
  23. yes he will with a 180 tyre.
  24. yep
