Something I noticed while doing research. The US bikes don't have lower frame rail motor mounts. What is the explanation there?
don't know the reason but they did the same with the 1200 bandits , even though all the mounting points are their ??????

very important, your piano won't sound right if its missing

It might help if you tell us what bike ????? some seals can have a lip round them so a case split is the right way.

I dont think they have stretched !!!!! its more likely the groove where they sit has shrunk and hardened over time. im sure new rubbers would be back to normal but you can buy them thin jubilee clips that fit in the rubber groove.

yeah i agree, the level does seem too high !!! it might be worth raising the float height (lowering the fuel level in the bowl) just to see if it makes a difference. a high fuel lever will make it run richer.

personally I like my pistons made from wood, but it has to be mahogany as it smells good

I take it the air filter and airbox are ok ? did you check the small air jets at the airbox side of the carbs ? one of my plugs was running rich (black plug) turned out to be a blocked air jet.
-
sounds like float valve leaking, did you replace the needles ?
-
tip, I had an old 600 bandit bottom yoke that I used to hold the stanchion and held it in a vice.

yeah I agree with F.B. i did one leg on my ET (gsxr1100L forks) and it was a bitch of a job, tighter than a tight thing
I nearly popped my dodgy heart !!!!!! never again.

Thank you, is that to take carbs off as well as airbox.
You can take the carbs off no problem. But you can't get the airbox out with the engine bolted in place.

Good fun these airbox moves on the Inazuma 750 and 1200....to get them in/out without destroying you need to lower the engine in the frame......what a lot of shite work.....ask me how i know

Hi, I have a 2001 gsx1200 inazuma and I'm trying to find the diameter of the airbox side of the carbs as I want to remove the airbox and replace with air pods but without removing carbs and airbox it seems impossible to find the diameter. Muchly appreciated if someone can help
the standard Inazuma uses 32mm carbs ( bandit 1200 uses 36mm) same as a 600 bandit, so get pods for a B6.
