    B12 upgrades?

Long(ish) strory I originally had a standard srad600 with art bolt-on end can,but could only get 92bhp(bigcc dyno.I came second at the OSS no bullshit dyno shootout)out of it ,but i wanted over 100bhp(i could have fitted a 750 engine, but that was too easy.It later got a Rhencullen tuned 750 = 134bhp). Later on PDF Paint Paul sprayed it for me in the Punisher theme. Then PP sold me his 1000k2 full system with Remus can,so I fitted the full system(with the butterfly valve open it made roughly 94bhp,I can't rememeber exactly). A bit later on we(OSS)had another no bullshit shootout, this time at DynoSpeed Developments so I arranged to go, hoping to win this time and beat Brian( one day,one day ).So i took out the butterfly valve and set off for DSD,but not before I had lobbed a slip-on ART can into the boot of Gnomes car and secured myself a Carbon Can Company 1000k5 link pipe from Banoffee,to be collected at DSD I did quite a few runs to try and get over the mythical 100bhp With the 1000k2 headers, link pipe(minus butterfly) and remus can,it made 98.2bhp(4hp that butterfly valve strangled),but still not 100bhp So with sleeves rolled up,I(and Adz) fitted the CCC 1000k5 link pipe and ART slip-on can, popped it on the dyno and it made ............. 100bhp But DSD Paul thought it would make a tad more, and we hit the staggering heights of 101.02bhp,I was well chuffed .My little 600 had even made more horsepower than PJ's Gsx1100ez(Snigger).I didn't win the shootout(came second again to Brian),but i did not care,I had 100+bhp 600(that was alot back then). It was then featured in Streetfighters mag. That was a top photoshoot with Clink Then I had some personal problems,so i part ex'd it against Sonny's(my brother) slabby and a couple of quid. Sonny fitted the Rhencullen 750 lump(and 600 head, works like fitting a dot head to an 11/1200.It was quick),blew that up,brought another 600,then got quashed by a pikey transit(he nearly died). In the meantime,I got the 1100k,but was using a stock system(restricted 125bhp import model). I then ended up with the remains of the srads in my garden,so i stuck the 1000k2 headers, ccc 1000k5 link pipe and a micron can onto my 11k,what a difference. It made 136bhp,I was chuffed again
  2. The Harpoon link pipes were welded to the stock headers and then it went together quite easily Gsxr1000k1-4 Titanium headers are also a good fit and work really well(it made 136 with the 1000k2 headers,CCC 1000k5 link pipe and micron can),.I've gone to a 4-1 micron(will get it on the dyno when it is back together) now Btw If you want back pressure then stick a potato in your end can, that's back pressure,as the gases cannot go anywhere and so there is a build up of pressure.Backpressure is usually bandied about with powerbands,i.e that exhaust is too short,so there will be no backpressure and you won't beable to hit the powerbands http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/exhaustbackpressure.html

    Hybrid motor?

Those people would be correct A 7/11 or 7/12 or 6/7 or 6/11 or 6/12,etc,etc,etc is the bigger borhters engine dropped into the little brothers frame(and it has been that way for years and years,Tritons,Hardons,Vintons, etc, etc) This is the worlds first(Quite a few years before Bradley O'connors 7/11) sllingshot 7/11(1052 motor in a 750J) And some more 7/11's I fitted a 6 speed into a 1186cc(powercreen 1127)lump,shit happened(bloody exes),so i never did get it finished(Jolly roger brought the bore kit and Adz had the rest)

    B12 upgrades?

The only 750 heads that fit the 11/12's are the 88/89 gsxr750j/k and 89-97 gsx750f dot heads(same size valves as the 1100's,steeper inlet ports and smaller combustion chambers, higher c/r). Which has already been said, but i didn't notice until now B12 use the bst36ss and the gsxr750l-ws use the bst38ss(750l/m use powerjet ones)

    B12 upgrades?

Just fit a gsxr1100k/l inlet cam,the ex cam on the b12 is already the same as 11k/l.(Edited as i got it the wrong way around ). Gsxr1000k1-4 Ti headers work really well.I had them on my 1100k,with a Carbon Can Company 1000k5 link pipe and Micron can. There is no need to use heat when fitting when fitting them(some people use it), i just pulled them into place(they are quite flexible)
  8. No difference,I took an oli-cooled(the green)out of Sonny's slabby 1100 and swapped it for a water-cooler(the black),it was a straight swap. I just had to make sure i used the spacers that came with the wheel
  9. The 750l and watercooler wheel i have here are the same measurements. They both use the slabby hanger as well for the smaller 220mm slabby discs we are using.I did have to put the dish of the sprocket facing inwards because the 11k has a slightly shorter output and countershaft than the others. Or did you mean the 1100k 4.5" wheel (i'll have to dig it out and check)
  10. I have a good pair of gsxr750f/g(750h were different) discs for sale
  11. Are they the bandit tokico shit(six)pots or nissin 4 pots?
  12. JE do a 955cc kit for the long stroke 600/750's http://www.jepistons.com/Catalogs/Powersports/Street-Cycle/Suzuki/gsxr_750-90-92.aspx
  13. The oil and watercooler 1100's use basically the same design 4-2-2 system. On my 1100k i used a pair of Harpoon cans(they were actually for a fartblade and RC30,this made a 10bhp(124 to 134.8) difference over the stock cans.
  14. That is why it is 125bhp,the oil(89-92 1100k-n)i and water-cooled bikes of the 90's were restricted through the end cans on the 4-2-2 systems. These were restricted by outlet size, with the french(these also have a mechanical restriction, head, etc) and West German(before the wall fell) models being restricted to 100bhp and uk models at 125bhp.The full power models were from the Italian and Canadian market. Martin Bangemann nearly got his Europe wide 100/125bhp limit, but luckily the manufacturers said up yours So change your system or fit less restrictive cans. I have the Perfiormance Bikes write(by TTS) up on the restrictions on the gsxr1100,fzr1000(inlet rubbers) and zzr1100(carb tops).I'll scan it and post it up
  15. As i said on facebook, the sprocket carriers are the same,it was only the 89 1100k carrier that was different

    Hybrid motor?

Even more likely is that they have stuck a 750 engine number on a complete 1052

    ho know this

It belonged to Steve Potter and was built by T.E.S(like Rene said.).IIrc he does regret selling it(he is on Facebook, give him a shout,he is top fella),Here are the build pictures on Sparts Gsxr website http://www.spartgsxrspecials.com/ALBUMS/steves tri suki build/index.html He still has his others. His Norsuki(Norton featherbed frame, slabby 1100 lump)is one of my all time favourite bikes. No hipster cx500 Eblag bolt-on tat here
  18. Btw Password for both is g i xx er,but without the sapces And i don't know why it came out white and writing all over the palce, must be because i copied and pasted it
  19. This is handy to keep in your favourites. It is the Haynes and Suzuki workshop manuals, plus lots of other goodies.(no viruses,so totally safe). There is a slabby and slingshot section. The Haynes manual is in the slingshot section Username: slingshot Password: say what now!? Username: slabside Password: say what now!? https://www.mydrive.ch/login#/
  20. Straight fit,but you need to use the 1100w rear wheel spacers,as(on the brake side) the oil-coolers use a spacer with a built-in steel dust cover and the watercoolers use a rubber seal which the spacer sits in Oil-cooled Water-cooled
  21. Btw should have metioned that you can keep the b12 pick-ups,they are the same as the gsxr, gsxf, etc
  22. Just stick with the gsxr wiring/cdi/etc,this does away with resistors that the blandit electrics(ignition and cdi) use(i used teapot 600 wiring on my brothers 7/12)

    Ham fisted

You can bore the vm29 flatties out to 33mm on the intake side(they are already 33mm on the outlet)
  24. When we did this,we used an srad cushion(spacers either side where it bolts to the frame)with homemade dogbones, the top shock mount was spaced out by 20mm Ady fitted a busa aarm a few months later using the same above setup.
  25. Keep the hugger,it stops crap getting on the pita circuit breaker
