  1. C'mon then, Tezzer. Let's see some 'after the polish' 'photo's then. We like 'photo's!!!
  2. I have a pair off a TL1000S. Two pots same, one smaller!
  3. Well....it's nigh on impossible with someone else's!!! And...I am one of your Northern blue faced brothers!
  4. Agree with all of the above, however...try putting the crank and gearbox in the casings, bolt up and torque to correct torque-iness. If all shafts spin with no perceptible nipping up, all should be well..... theoretically!!! Up to you. Or get the B12 cases welded. You can only piss with the cock you've got!
  5. I like that, but the tank top line could've been just a smidge higher?
  6. You're right, Coombe! I was taking too much notice of the frame, and not looking at the motor! Shoulda went to Specsavers!!!
  7. Knew I had a 'photo somewhere! Maybe I'm wrong? Anyone know it?
  8. I'm nearly sure there was a purple, turbo'd 1150 EFE a few years ago. It was said the frame was 550EFE? Go figure.
  9. So Cap'n. Are you saying the engine bay on the 750 is smaller than the 1100? Thought the two frames would have been the same size?
  10. Have you had any rear chain /sw.arm issues with the motor mounted forward, Paul?
  11. That's what I thought. Biggest problem is getting the frame there!
  12. Cheers Clive! Bit of information for anyone who's interested? A company called Hard Anodising Earby, near Skipton, will re-anodise your Slabby frame and associated bits and pieces for around £80. 01282 841341. Might be worth a punt?
  13. The brace from behind the headstock to the 'ears' on the 750 Slabbie fairing. What's the fixing to the brace? Mine has no tapped holes for screw from outside the plastics to brace.
  14. Which ones? On the head, or further down? And...check out the dealers who are giving discount to OSS. Robinsons Foundry (10%) and Robinsons Rochdale (15%) Check out either Robinsons, Alpha Sports or CMSL for the microfische's on your model. Then you can see what you want, and get part no's for your 15%. SImples!!!
  15. What's the colour called Clive, who did it, and... quanta costa???
  16. I tried a 5.5" in mine , Alan. Sprocket carrier bolts were just about touching the 'arm. You also have to take a bit of the stiffening out of the arm, where the tyre will rub. Easier to use a B6 wheel and 160 tyre!
  17. Cheers lads! I'll have a bit play with it and let you know the results!
  18. Anyone come up with a good way of tarting up the Slab frame? Not interested in polishing, more of a good clean back to standard.
  19. John, are the original strips plastic? I found one in me box, and was wondering wtf it was!
  20. Bad news with the carbs, mate. I'm sure the solution wouldn't cause the sticky choke ! I've never had any issues like that. Don't piss about with stud extractors. They just make things worse, and if you snap one...whole job's paggered! What copper pipe you on about? If you can't get a new one, try silver soldering the split?
  21. There was bracing on the original. Make a 'doubler' out of alloy plate, satin black it...and Robert's your Mothers Brother!
  22. Swiss Toni

    Wheels!?

So...did you use the B6 sprocket carrier, milled down , or a GS500/550 carrier???
  23. Got to ask...is the B12 Mk2 clutch the same as Mk1?
