  8. @Duckndivehas posted pictures of setting final play on the EFE item. Here is a topic with a hint And another with the pictures Others have experienced clutch rattle in neutral which was due to the carbs being put of sync. Yours sounds a bit like a clutch balance / play issue. Some clutch baskets had some sort of rubber bungs in them to stop the rattle. Maybe some of your rubbers are missing?
  9. the link Put some effort in it an ask Dave from " fast by me " to do it. Its his day time job
  10. Hi and welcome. Yes... please start a "new member" topic in the general section. That gives us a heads up of new ideas and old questions are heading our way.
  11. How does the other half feel about the purple ET? .. it looks like a real pussy magnet
  12. Just tuned... that shaft looks weird to me. I would expect it to be cylindrical al the way. This one has a weird asymetric wear / step in it. Not an expert.. just an observation
  13. Nr 7 is the spacer i meant This is a screenshot of the adviced play of an after market clutch basket for a gsx1100ef in inches. example I realise this is for a different model but it does give you a indication that your clutch basket needs some play too. The comment i made regarding the general section was intented for you to say "hello... i am a newbie and i share your interests in oss.. blabla.. beer.. bikes "
  14. Hi and welcome to OSS. Please post an intro in the general section. That is not part of my job description...( it is to scare newbies away) unless they PM me pictures of the swedish female volleybal team If the construction of the 750 clutch basket is the same as the 1100es.. there is a steel insert in the aluminium clutch basket. The steel bit of the basket sits on the shaft. The clutch basket needs some play which - on the 1100- can be set with shims . Pretty sure thats covered in the factory manual. <- thats a hint to read it. Or.. the steel insert has worked itself loose. Then its time for a new basket.
  15. Is this of any help? engine stand topic
  16. mr Martin..... Instead of satin... may i suggest silk. It really hugs your skin
  17. Are both clutch levers stock and model specific? Maybe the travel on one or both ends is not correct for the clutch pack. Some may have swapped these in favour of a shinier adjuster or such.
  18. Pics and an introduction would help.
  19. Put a big block in it Then you wont feel ashamed of your mate. As for the other problem: Check if the inner cable rotates when attached to the speedo drive. The square bit on the cable end sometimes snaps off making it look okay bit ends up to short and wont engage drive side
  20. I think you need to drill the rear engine plates bigger from 10mm to 12mm . As the other engine plates are bolt-on i wouldn't worry. Others will know for sure. Never did this conversion myself.
  21. For parts interchangeabilty please forget the gsx1400. And please remind that this is oldskoolsuzuki. The definition is here. Thank you
