So took clutch basket out etc all looked how it should or was it.... Went to fit new friction plates from SPS but to big After a very quick response from SPS I've now learnt from Nick that i have a gs750 basket which has straight primarys, a cheap upgrade as kinder to basket and crank Also have 3 standard clutch springs and 3 HD ones, new 750 plates on order so some oiled unused gs1000 plates will be up for sale I'm guessing the slight play is from the staight cut primarys

I’ll take it off over the weekend and check

After removing the friction plates on the GS to be replaced i noticed that the clutch drum/ primary gear has a bit of slack, basically you can pull it back and fourth about 1mm,didn't know if that was the norm or just worn etc, any advice much appreciated Cheers

Was told engine refreshed with new bores and pistons due to piston ring failure Woundered if you knowledgeable folks would know piston make going by part numbers, what spec head it could be ( standard/mild etc) and damage seen relates to possible ring faliure Going by cleaned up valves I'm guessing they were going to run it Thanks for you time.. Keep safe

Not sure were to post this... Basically i have a gs1000 with a gsxr wn rear wheel/spindle/brake caliper... With a gsx1100 swinger Hopefully you can see by the pic the spindle shank just sits on the swing arm by about 5mm then the threads start.. The time the nut is torqued theres about 1 thead showing It would be nice to have the shank pass through the swing arm so the chain adjuster clamp pulls on the shank both sides and have enough threads pass the nut to get an R pin fitted... Hope this makes sence Spindle diameter 20mm....shank length from inner face of flange is 29cm...theads are 2.5cm... Would anyone know of a slightly longer spindle about 34cm long Thank you for your valuable time

My track TLR uses the TLS cable and clutch actuator...can’t remember if clutch push rods are the same length though -
