  2. And pretty much a direct swap so a common 'upgrade'
  3. as previously mentioned @Swiss Toni to all intents and purposes the Kat 1000 crank case and gearbox are identical to any other GSX1100 set-up so its defo not as simple as that........
  4. Kat 1000 motor shares the lower cases and simply had 998cc (or whatever) barrels / pistons to make it legal for Superbike Raving back in the day.......

  10. a guy over Carlisle way supposedly had a load of the original jigs, etc. a few years back on egay but not sure what happened to it all - was quite pricey i think........
  11. you cant be far away from me then as i have always lived around the Birtley / Ch-le-st area since very little......... one of the guys used to do a fair bit of machine / engineering work for him i think

  16. From mmeory people have simply swapped the ET stem into the Bandit / Inazuma yokes and then its std ET bearings
  17. Its basically a Bandit frame so would imagine it will be a similar cure but not my speciality I'm afraid.......
  18. Simply use the frame mounting parts for the original and its will bolt straight in...... EF frame is totally different hence why those are no good
