  1. Thanks a lot, found the pictures and indeed this looks like something I was thinking about. Think I have some more brainstorming to do or perhaps some practise in German
  2. I think I know what you mean and I was thinking about something like that aswell. Any chance you can post a link to this information, Google can't find it for me...
  3. Too bad they don't have a single sided version of that...
  4. Looks similar but also different. Seems your top shock mount is differtent. You also have an alternative solution for the engine mounts. On the other hand, we are having the same problem with installing the shock ;-) That's why I will be using the direct shock without any linkages as shown in the example above.
  5. Same here with the similar Kawasaki Z1000 frame
  6. These steel bolts are usually stuck in the aluminium frame. Just some heat and then your torx back in it might work. Otherwise drilling them out is the way to go. Be sure to get the correct fine thread pitch when buying new bolts. I beieve they are M10x1,25. Cheers.
  7. With that length probably Bandit....

  13. In my opinion a very nice bike by the way:
  14. Thanks guys, good motovation to do some work again. As I said it will take time but it will be finished some day. The first challenge will be to sort the rear suspension. The original Ducati linkage is not the way to go as there is no possibility to mount this to the frame without ruining it. So it should probably be something as shown below with use of the original top mount and heavy modification of the swingarm:

    Ready!!

    Lovely couple though ;-)
  16. Should be around 5 cm as I remember correctley
  17. Have a look on the old site here for more info: http://old-skool-suzuki.proboards.com/thread/612/fork-conversion-chart As it looks to me an 1100W bottom yoke should do the job and will fit your frame without any problems.
  18. Fork diameters for the 750W ar 50/54 and TL is 50/55. Doesn't this fit in the bottom yoke with a bit of persuasion?
  19. Haha the Aprillia moto 6.5! Think that belongs in the same corner as the Multipla
