  1. I've got my bike on the road again, haven't really given it to it. Made a plenum what is roughly 160cc bigger, and made velocity stacks in it. The bike reacts way more enthusiastic on the throttle. May post photo's later
  2. Depends on the turbo, but recon kits for a turbo aren't expensive.. A rebuild kit for mine is actually half of what a set of those sprockets will set you back.
  3. You won't get more pressure! More flow probably, but the pressure wil not rise noticable. Make a reduction in the oil galley to the gearbox is also a trick. Extra heat you'll fix with an oil cooler.
  4. That's what I thought too, but then, the GS/GSX engines have not even 1 psi pressure, the camshafts do fine on that, as long as there's oil in a steady supply it's alright.. Turbo is a different story, apparently..
  5. Fuel is leaking when fuel pump is running? Lower the pressure to about 1.5psi
  6. I've done some experimenting with different gear ratio's and wider oil pumps. As soon as the engine is at operating temperature, there's aboslutely f*ck all of oil pressure., no matter what gear ratio or how wide the pump is. Keep in mind, the pressure is mostly determent by the resistance in the oil channels, or how big the holes at the ends are. As long as that's not changed you hardly win anything. Assuming we're talking about a rollerbearing engine, don't worry about is, there's nothing in the engine what needs pressure, as long as it's lubricated you should be fine.
  7. Your carburetors are faulty, the float needles should seal off the fuel supply.

  9. When I had mine going I was running 2psi fuel pressure, for some reason the float needles started leaking after a while and had to drop the pressure to 1.5 psi.

  11. That's not a rising rate one, is it? Then that could be the problem..
  12. I was later thinking, if they weren't alright, it would cause problems as soon as it hits boost
  13. True... Thanks guys, I'll keep it like it is then.
  14. I don't have any problems with my stock GS1000 tap.
  15. Float height, did you set all the floats at the same height, or did you adjust the fuel levels in the bowls? Because if you just adjusted the heights of the floats, the fuel levels will be different.. Believe it or not.
  16. Is the original tap actually a problem?
  17. So a bigger pipe what can move more air doesn't make a, or much difference? It's more about pressure?
  18. Busy building a new plenum, and idea's popping up, not sure if the idea's are any good.. I had/have a 2" pipe on it (from turbo to plenum), now I was thinking of putting a 2.25" pipe on it. Will this improve performance? Anyone been experimenting with this? What size charge pipes are you guys running? Thanks
  19. I already have an idea for the plenum. The reason for asking is that I don't feel like experimenting / tuning again.
  20. Is Robinsons Foundry a real / only Suzuki dealer? Or are the prices in Europe inflated?
  21. Tasmania must be a lot cheaper then.. I paid about 300GBP for the lot..
  22. Probably better... I'm mostly curious how much difference there will be between my drawings..
  23. Ask the Suzuki dealer for a quote
