The only proper way is to connect an O2 sensor with gauge and make visable what you're doing. Sometimes when you're getting close to a good tune, the symptomes of too rich or too lean can be pretty similar. It takes the gues work out, and you can do a better job fine tuning it.

Suzuki dealer. Total seal, pretty quick and reasonable priced!!

You got a spare engine? If the crank can't handle it, the crankcase is gone too most likely, ask me how I know..

Taste it

Big chance I got thrown off currency rates, from USD to AUD.. Sometimes my computer goes by AUD sometimes by USD

Do Hayabusa rods fit? Don't you have way more options with that?

What I can find the Maxpeeding is between 3 and 4 times cheaper then Carillo's. This would be something I wouldn't have the guts to take the risk, suspension or a turbo failing is mostly very annoying, if a conrod fails there's a lot more damage..
-
I thought Maxpeedingrods was/is crap.. I was looking at car parts not too long ago, turbochargers and suspension, that's when I heard about the brand. It was that cheap that raises questions. The reviews weren't good. But a con rod hasn't got any moving parts, it might be ok.

Meanwhile I won the auction and it's on my way... I hope...

Thank you very much!

I know, I mean it's not too small

The turbo stuffed up, I'm bidding on another one, slightly bigger, when the bike is on the road again I'll have a look how the carb tune is. In the past with another turbo I didn't had the problem with a rich mixture in the middle throttle running. Thanks for the tips.

2 times the displacement should be right. Some bikes run fine on a small plenum, some do need a bigger plenum

Thanks! Much difference in performance? The TD04 on mine is build in pretty tight..
-
Hmmm, not as easy as I hoped for.. With the RS carburetors you just looked on a list and ordered what you need, thought this would be about the same.
-
On my quest for another turbo I came across this. I'm also looking into a VF23. Can you tell me if the VF23 is bigger than the TD04? Dimension wise? I'm not really looking for a turbo with more output, but the plain bearing turbo's keep stuffing up for some reason, the ball bearing I had previously (VF20) stayed alright, no clue what goes wrong, seems to get plenty of oil.. Thanks

I could, but I don't have a clue how much difference in size makes a difference in AFR.

I've got carburetors from a GSX1100 on my GS1000, the needles are a bit rich, the number on the Needle is 5D59. the D doesn't look like a D, more a G in mirror.. I've got a set of GSX750 carburfuckingettors laying around, the needles from this set have the number 5C32 stamped in them. I found some needle size charts on the web, but no numbers what match with the needles I have. Anyone here who knows what number I should look for? I need a bit leaner needles. Thanks

How big is the plenum?
-
Correct, Float chamber needs boost pressure.

The whole idea to use the angled teeth is to reduse noise.. The GS/GSX straight cut gears rattle!
-
Thanks. I don't hear it on idle. But I've got straight cut primary gears, that rattles like hell on idle..
